This is a really interesting and entertaining video. Thanks Mike and Brian. I only wish I could get a sip of that liquid gold. Is there any left or do I have to get in line for next year?
Oh it was delicious, probably the best apple cider that I've ever had! But no, it's all gone. We'll add you to the wait list for next year and maybe you can make a cameo. Maple syrup season is next, we'll save some for you.
Congrats for your hard work guy's but this is not a cider, you can do a fermentation and then it becomes a cider, also with carbonation, but I like the way you did the apple juice
The 3/4" stainless steel shaft goes straight through the oak drum and the bearings are pressed onto the shaft and bolted to the drum. I could have eliminated those bearings because the drum and shaft are friction fit like a pressed bearing. Those bearings are doing nothing. It was completely over thought and if the bearings were to spin the drum would not. Totally unnecessary.
Great video!!
Thank you!

Next video we'll change batteries to that smoke alarm.
How did you attach the bearings to the oak cylinder?

you need a filter in your press.
Folks put a mesh in their crusher ,maybe easier on cleaning and no need to filter just one step.
An apple tree is a fruit tree, not a watermelon bush
I found out on the Internet
Pouring hot cider into a plastic bottle!??...the fuck?!
