Linoone was an ace on my emerald team. When the Galarian forms were revealed, I knew they were going on my team. I pick Linoone for nostalgia and Obstagoon for everything else. Let's get a Lunar Duo fight.
I just love Galarian Zigzagoon line all the way! I love the design and the lore behind it as the original species of the pokemon and the whole concept behind Obstagoon with it's mannerisms and battling style, also I have to say the whole Galarian Zigzagoon line has risen to be one of if not *the absolute favorite shiny pokemon in the whole game!* I just adore the crazy combination of blue and red spreading to everywhere it's body, *EVEN IT'S TONGUE IS BLUE!??!?!* They should definitely make more *crazy and gaudy shiny pokemon like this!*
Obstagoon was a surprise like for me. I was excited when it came out because, ya know, new Pokemon. But I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did. It's a good kid.
They should have made non Galar evolutions as well. Mayve not called Obstagoon Sirfetch'd and Cursola but Pokemon with the same base stat totals that the non Galar forms become.
I like both Forms of Linoone. Never used Obstagoon because I always go with Pickup as the Ability for Linoone. Pickup is my favorite Ability in Pokémon due to how handy it is in game.
He would look just like Obstagoon but without Tongue,Teeths, without X on his Body,Blue Eyes and without those Grey Clothes on him just like Zigzagoon and Linoone.

Obstagoon's Shiny is so good in my opinion that I put my playthrough to a halt to hunt and catch a Shiny Zigzagoon. This was the first time I had a Shiny Pokemon on my main team.
Shiny linoone used metronome. . Fire Fang . Rest -->Explosion . Sheer Cold Shiny linoone is your average Wi-Fi Hero main, accidentally using the "I'm gonna kill myself" move in a panic, causing them to lose the game.

Even if explosion knocked out Obstagoon Linoone would’ve lost anyway since the rules state that if your Pokémon is the user of explosion, you lose the battle.

Galarian Linoone/ Galarian Zigzagoon is/ would be my preferred one as regular Linoone/ Zigzagoon I always felt was a bit dull in appearance and ‘normal’ type is such a imo overly populated type and just not exciting. It’s great that it only has one type weakness but... Meh.. Neither imo is ‘better’, just one has more flair to it’s look and a type other than the boring old ‘normal’ typing. But that’s just me...
In terms of design, I don't like Galarian Linoone or Obstagoon. I feel like they're KISS knockoffs. But I do like them when it comes to types and abilities.

What about the other regions that don't really have clear term for variant form words? I've never been able to figure out Sinnoh and Kalos.
