Ferdinand is suprisingly good, I thought it would be slow, clumsy and die quickly. It can tank a lot actually. Just bought it today and immediately got a 5 kill game. Nice video Dollar!
Neat lil factoid bout me, when i was a youngster, i watched the military channel on my tv every now and then, they had a series about tank battles iirc and i so happened to watched the episode featuring the Elephant, and for a while after it was my favorite tank(or TD in this case.)
(Quite long story, feel free to skip it) The very first personal long range record i scored was indeed with the Ferdinand; first time playing on Sinai (large version) and 1-month experience as RB player, so i was still learning stuff. Sat behind a dune, watching the (in)famous hill that now can't camp C cap, i saw a Centurion Mk3 came up from there. While i tried to figure the range wasting 3 shells, another Cent popped up (was a Strv 81 with ATGMs, the uk premium) and launched an atgm to me; in panic as missiles were already a nightmare back then, i fired blindly...scored a LFP shot from 2900 meters away. On WW2-early Cold War vehicles, it's still my longest kill ever achieve. Moving up in BRs then i reached even further but i can't say are spectacular as using the 88mm L71, an "unofficial" 4500m kill against a Hind (since i made it with my M1 Abrams), then 3500m as final records with various tanks... Time to time i think back to that day, from how i was happy to improve my skills and face new challenges...now i dumped the game for goods, missing some things but not enough to return (it feels forced and not a genuine interest...).
Speaking of cool tanks...maybe another episode about the British Black Prince? and his Churchill brothers, especially since it is possible that we will get Churchill Avre in the next update
In the first battle. The full up tier You at BR 6.7. On your team there were at least 3 BR 7.7 and 1 7.0. You had 8 kills 1x7.0 4x6.7 1x6.3 1x. 6.0 1x4.0. Sometimes I think players make too much about being up tiered. Your team had 2 players one and out (one of them was a 7.7) In any case another great video
Nice ferdi video, it would be nice to have a second part with the whole porsche team, Ferdinand/Elefant, Porsche Tiger and Tiger II (P). You ain't winning LeMans but it would be some really good 88mm cannon action

Tiger II (P) is not a Porsche design, Gaijin got the name wrong. The turret was designed and built by Krupp and was just the first turret design for the Tiger II program, it was replaced by the second turret as it was far simpler, cheaper, faster to produce, had better ergonomics and offered better protection.
Your editing is, yet again, top notch. I will say, when you have runners, you are missing a golden opportunity to use clips from Logan's Run, a 1976 film where the security forces are always busy chasing "runners " who are not willing to be euthanized when they reach the age limit of their community. Your ability to find outstanding clips is great and this may fill a tiny hole in your repertoire.
I recommend the Turan III. It's a Hungarian tank with a great gun and amazing acceleration. if you drive backwards most peoples shells will get absorbed by the transmission and engine, giving you the opportunity to strike back.
Currently grinding through the Ferdinand at 6.7 and think it’s great, powerful gun, strong frontal armour and quick reverse fit shoot and scoot. Only downside this the forward speed and turning

The APCR for the long 88 is nice for penning the mantlet of the American T34. If they play hull down the regular pzgr really struggles against them.
