Thank you, Todd, for casting Nina as Sharon. She's a very underrated actress.
Nina siempre me impresiona, esta en Sharon como si fuera ella y de corazón apoya a Lydia Tar y la familia de ambas es una excelente esposa, madre y violinista
Without much dialogue she ate this role. Blanchett says ‘Great Nina Hoss’ for nothing. One of the most underrated master actor, like Toni Collette
You’re right. Nina plays her roles with her lips shape and that gives her character something special.
Her eyes said so much.
Nina doesn't need lines. One look, smirk, rised eyebrow is sufficient. Magnificent performance, but unfortunately not recognized during awards season because she was on screen for maybe 20 minutes in total.
It’s unfortunate that she and Noemi merlant did not get nominated. Not to mention how industry criminally snubbed masterpiece’TAR especially Cate Blanchett
Thanks for pointing that out. I also noticed her acting performance was incredibly good. As you mentioned, she expressed so much even when remaining in silent. I honestly didn’t know Nina before this film but wow I am impressed. She is one on those rare actresses who talks in such a magnificent, calm, but strong rhythm.
Nina is so talented ❤
Please let’s make a standing ovation 👏🏻 for Nina Hoss’ performance in Tár.
Great performance from Nina Hoss 👍
My grandma is German and even without the sound you can tell when a character is German. 😄
how can you tell???

There’s a stern intensity in the eyes……. I can tell! 😆
@@munci6474 forehead, moth-shape, lips-shape, gaze, height, skin color, hips. She is the standard German woman.
Mi è piaciuta tantissimo l'interpretazione di Nina Hoss,più che le parole sono stati gli sguardi a caratterizzare la sua performance. BRAVA 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
gotta be honest, i didn't know about Nina hoss until her role in this movie and i gotta say I'm so glad I got introduced to this beautiful actress.
Watch her performance in Phoenix and Barbara.. she’s criminally underrated actress
The actual concertmaster looking at Nina while playing proves she has his respect 0:27 - 0:30
Eloquent, erudite, Nina never disappoints.
I love Nina.
I think she combines the looks of Kate Winslet, Emilia Clarke and Friederike Kempter.
Superb actress. Loved her blow up in the speeding car
I admire her performance. But it was impossible not to notice the fact that she couldn’t play the violin, let alone portraying the skills and command a concert master.
I felt this wasn’t her fault or weakness. It was flawed decision to have her learn the instrument and act with it. I wonder if they had considered using technology to make the violin playing scenes less distracting.
Lol. Expertise ruins so many movies.
For me she was stellar and powerful but I don’t have your expertise haha
Hoss was the ONLY good thing about TAR
She is by far my favorite character from the film but is it actually a good person?? She denied Lydia seeing her daughter, she requested Lydia to do something for Petra at school even is she could have talked to Petra’s teachers herself, she knew everything about Lydia’s affairs, Sharon perceived was Lydia was up to with the Russian girl yet she gave her a position in the orchestra, she left Lydia before Lydia left Berlin, and she didn’t do anything to stop Lydia’s misuse of power instead she benefited from it. So, was she actually a good person?? I don’t care, I love her character the most ❤❤❤
@@sakurauchiha5562 Agreed! It's fiction and that was the character. She was very believable.
@@p.w.e.2374 I know but I just wanted to write about her 😍😍
