It’s interesting to see how you live in Australia when I live half way round the world in Toronto Canada. I check out your plants, grasses, food, clothing, style of houses, what your restaurants look like, etc. It’s amazing how similar we live. Big difference is how we sound speaking English. I hear your Aussie accent. And even though I don’t think I have accent, I’m sure you’d hear one in my voice. Actually, I think us people here in southern Ontario sound boring and monotone, like Hollywood movies. I wish I could share my life here in 🇨🇦 with you so you could see how we live.

Global warming is affecting us here too, just no one complains too hard about it because the weather is lovely. Depends on where you are and what time of year it is. It is winter here in Southern Ontario but we have no snow and the temp is about 2*C One snow storm moved through during Christmas but the next week it was 15*C and it all melted. People pray for a white Christmas because so often we get a green one. The nostalgia of decades past when it would snow from October to April, before global warming ramped up. Our summers are hotter than Hades and dry. Not as extreme as parts of Australia. Australia makes the news here for hot temperatures and bush fires.

I searched UA-cam for a reason why and they say it is too hot here so I shall have to continue to work on growing the grass for them until it is cooler it has been very hot here for months. Robert, I remember, now, that your wife or partner reminds me of a lovely woman who works at the care home where my Dad is. She doesn't work with Dad, but I do know her from living locally, and so we talk often. I show Dad your videos, and he likes them. They remind him of when I used to keep small animals, like Guinea Pigs, Rabbits and Cats :)

Have bought a nz farm and wondering if I should let roam free, or not??? or will there be a popn explosion. would provide predator-proof housing etc... havent been able to decide, so still in their enclosure -but i bet they would love to roam free on my 130 acres.. except that I can just imagine a popn explosion "plague" of guineas, so that has me undecided -though in USA they roam free [guinea herds just recently now being used to fertilize the land].

hello there Dawn come from farming family everything is in large numbers I guess sheep you count in thousands cattle you count in hundreds plus poultry we have 50 thousand, up and down two would probably do but why not , have more I when to a friends place a couple of years back, and two of his guinea pigs were getting a hard time from all the others I took the hame and put them in a chicken shed as time when on I end up with a few from here and there I only breed with the American Guinea pigs at different time to hot for the long haired ones, I feel I love the ones with the three colours I never sell any but give a couple away at different times to people in need of a friend the cost of cats and dogs are very high in Australia the not for profit refuge centres charge plenty any way they generate happiness and I love to share thank you so much
Little Robbie is a sweet and responsible boy...who is growing up so quickly! Is Robbie off to school or kindergarten this year?
