In all honesty, I never really liked the guy, but he was all over the radio & Honky Tonk Juke Boxes in the mid 80s(When Telephones Hung On The Wall & didn't fit in your pocket)

I came from the generation where it basically became a meme I didn’t realize he had other ones that took off like that one 😊 although personally it’s one of my favorite songs (all memes aside) just some of their choices weren’t necessarily completely OHW so I still feel like he could squeeze in with this song😊 it truly is a wonder!

Billy Ray was definitely not a one hit wonder. Even without his most recent success with Old Town Road, he had 7 songs in the top 10 country and over 30 singles in the top 40. Not to mention he is a household name, and (with Garth Brooks) was responsible for the mass commercialization of country music.
Billy Ray Cyrus had several huge hits..Honestly Some gave all was his best song...And Could've been me..Old town road..Which by the way was #1 for the longest time in history

Fireman 17 Yeah, it is Lil Nas X's hit (Lil Nas is def not a one hit wonder obviously), but Billy Ray Cyrus still had a couple tracks that hit it off, and him being featured in Old Town Road doesn't mean he isn't a one hit wonder because it isn't his. That song still boosted Billy Ray no matter which way you face it.
