Quick question, for the final combo (ice + cross), before we go into the photon dragon, we mention that the opp can imperm and stop the duodrive. would it be worth holding onto the cross in hand so that you can make the second duodrive with the bodies on board without being restricted by instead of going for photon, or do we think the risk of playing into nib is too high, and that its better to play the cross, and just make a deadnader/bagooska/whatever with the materials left and call it there?
Thoughts on Desires over Small World? OCG plays it despite having Tachyon as well. For TCG 3 Bonfire and 3 Desires seems like a decent substitute for the OCG's 1 Bonfire 2 Desires 3 Tachyon. And everything minus the Ryzeal spells/traps and Node are 3-ofs. Combo and then Desires avoids banishing those, only really need to shotgun Desires as first play to risk it when you didnt open any starters

It’s a toss up, I think that Maliss maining shifter will be very very good if we don’t get a banlist. Ryzeal might be too slow for the current format. We will see, I’m not a fortune teller
Does mulcharmy feel necessary? I know having it going 2nd can make your opponent have to play awkwardly and can win off that assuming you see it in your first hand. Or would other interactions be more efficient

In your ice + cross combo you activate node ryzeal to send duodrive to reborn a Monster. after that you did not mention that Nibiru destroys you completely on this Point. why you do not use Rafflesia to protect you for Nib?

It causes congestion in your hand. Too many normal summons. You want your starters to also be extenders in almost every situation. In our testing we’ve found that winning really comes down to being able to get to deadnader through hts. IE, 2 ryzeal monsters. Aratama and saki don’t help get you there. It’s not the worst package, I just think there is better options.
Little thing but a common misunderstanding among tcg is that ocg is bo1. Only YCSJ is bo1, all other events are mostly bo3. Like we could literally see them siding artifact scythe in ryzeal.

Am I just crazy, isn’t lava golem really good against both ryzeal and maliss but nobody is talking about it, yea it eats your normal summon but if your deck can run it, it seems like a really good card for this next format
For the field spells negate on resolution, I know it doesn’t add to a chain, but if my opponent makes SP. cl1 Flamberge, cl2 SP. can you negate the Flamberge, or just the SP eff?
funnily enogh, the last enboard completely dies to superpoly. Happend to me twice during testing... But I doubt superpoly is gonna be prevalent in the meta
It’s 100% an option. I see this deck either playing talents or Crossout as a way to play through hts. Talents seems a little better imo as it’s good going 2nd but it’s still really early to tell.

When you activate something like nibiru or any card really, that card will be chain link 1. This is where your opponent has the ability to respond with something like solemn strike as chain link 2. If the chain resolves then strike will negate the activation and destroy nibiru and it wouldn’t resolve. If you don’t chain anything to the nibiru then the chain will resolve and when you go to resolve the effect of nibiru the opponent gets the option to use the non activated effect of the Ryzeal cross to negate. I hope this helps I’m not too good at explaining things like this.
If they activate nib you can chain plugin and summon duo drive from gy and Equip the trap from deck, then negate nib with the fieldspell when it attempts to resolve.
Not sure! Fire king snake-eye is still a good deck the problem is that we are approaching banish time. The ocg has Ryzeal as basically tier 0. However they have a few more hits to snake-eye than we do.

You can either make deadnader and pass with 5 disruptions, or make ray lancer with duodrive, then make a 2nd duodrive. I should have explained further

Desires is not a line of play. It does not get you to combo over 30% of the time with only 12 starters

The ocg rotated off because it plays into slayer too much. They get to clear all 6 disruptions with 1 card.

Not sure yet, I’m not opposed to it, it lets you play much safer into hts, but it doesn’t do anything on its own. 🤷♂️

Chain Plug-In, revive xyz, attach trap from deck. In every scenario possible that works.
