This is the second video I've watched of this channel and I can already tell that you have the coolest channel Ive ever seen! This is the fist comment Ive ever made in 20 years of using youtube and I just had to tell you how awesome it is that you're teaching us how to paint like this!
Love your videos. Great info and I have learned a lot since I started painting in December of 2021. Try hot glueing your helping hands base to a small plate or old Tupperware lid for more stability.

29:08 thank you Jen I have a 6 inch glide bait I want to paint in a bluegill pattern. I’ve only painted one crank bait successfully so far so I’m a little intimidated but determined, I’ll give this a go and I’ll tag you to it when it’s finished in a Instagram post!

Great bait watch a lot. You were cleaning airbrush and when you put plunger in said to put detent towards front. Others have wanted it towards back.What is your theory. Thanks Bill

Jen i know your always up for suggestions so i have one for you. Im brand new and just bought my first airbrush (batter powered). Im addicted to fishing unfortunately working in Seattle and it rains everyday during winter. So i started painting lure blanks. Im staying in hotel so regular air compressor is too loud. I think pressure is too low to sustain my spray. I was wondering if you have a batter powered air brush and if you do could you do a video utilizing it?

You are a master at your craft dear. I very much enjoyed this spray session! Aside from slowly losing my sanity ;) I’m doing just fine. Dads doing better than before just a long road of appointments to jump through. Hats off to all the healthcare/caregiver workers as I have a whole new appreciation for them. Nor rush on anything dear. Lakes are solid up here lol! As for the fins and tails are replacements available yes I’ve always sent out replacements to those that asked for them as long as I had the extras to be able to send. As for the other suppliers I think they have them available for sale but not 100%! Hope you get the opportunity to take a few days off for this month and treat yourself to a break this season. Thanks again dear you rock and if I ever get these blanks from this individual I ordered from back in May I’ll be sending you one to put your mark on! Merry Christmas!

Having problems with chrome lures I used createx 4050 for base but baits scratches very easy when when I put stencils on ! Suggestions

I need a refresher (just started) ! Do you start just painting with like Opaque White or is it important to do some sort of primer?
A question better suited to be answered on a video! Short answer, crankbaits generally just need to be scuffed and then base coat. Resin baits need a lot more prep, like sanding and primer.
@@Jekyll424 Appreciate all the response! I'd love to see a video from you on crankbait blank prep. I know pretty basic but I'm about to start painting blanks for the first time. The place I bought them said no prep required.
How do you get a clear coat on there with out gumming up the joints?

on occasion but rarely. Createx is generally thin right out of the bottle, and alcohol ink is super thin!
can't watch your videos watching you use your double action air brush as a single action.
