Were a fish here in venezuela the freaking tide rips ... I'm using 450 gms jigs on 120 mts of water and yet can't stay vertical. So far have gone out three times and I haven't been able to hold bottom properly.

Those of us researching for knowledge are particularly interested in what depth you are jigging , how much current you are working in at the time , what jig weigh used and line strength and diameter if possible . Also importantly the rod rating used in the conditions . Particularly in the deeper water ie 100 Mtrs plus . A lot of videos out there say they are jigging instruction , techniques etc but only show action . Your videos are usually a cut above the norm and it is appreciated . Keep up the good work . Hey mate, really depends on the trip. If I’m fishing with a buddy boat like I was on this trip generally not. If I’m worried about anything, planning a big day out or crossing a bar I will log on. I also give my old man a full trip run down including ETD and ETR times so he can alert anyone if need be. I also wear a PFD1 and Personal Epirb at all times when fishing solo so I can raise the alarm if I end up outside the boat. 👍👍
@@theoriginalhatchy haha cheers, I figured if I’m going to push the boundary’s a bit might as well make sure I get to go home at the end of it. I also have a personal epirb attached to the belt just in case. Pretty easy to slip out of a boat when it’s rough. Handy bits of kit and you don’t even know you have them on half the time 👌
