- I know, I know, I know...it has been a rough year for vids on the channel and if it seems like BGFG has completely disappeared in the second half of 2021, you are not alone. This is our best apology/explanation/excuse for the state of the channel right now plus some promises for the new year. We hope everyone is having a good close to 21 and looking forward to 22.
Be Gone For Good is built around the philosophy of bringing the greatest benefit we can while we travel. These videos are a way for us to spread the word about what we are doing and help anyone we can get involved in their own traveling experience.

It did seem to go really fast didn't it? Maybe a little more time smelling roses (or freshly baked confections) would do me well for 22. ;-)
I am new to the Channel but really enjoy the way you present topics and such. I want to be an adventure rider, but as you life gets in the way. As I don’t fully understand the UA-cam world, I do understand some of your feelings. Projects or trips or something else hijacks the momentum and sometimes it takes a lot to get back on track. I see others persevere better, some worse.
Okay……you said it, and I am not a professional weather forecaster or adventure rider. But given just the past 7 days, Colorado high country will not be passible until lat July next year. I live 30 minutes west of Colorado Springs, but been in the CS area for 20 years now. Although the high country started extremely dry and slow, they just made up for it. You can track the ski areas and see how much snow they are receiving as a gauge. Most of the areas just received 3-4 feet, and it is still snowing. Wolf Creek pass is on the verge of getting 8 feet in the past week with snow still falling. All of the sudden, the high country is on the verge of getting back to “normal” snowpack in a hurry. Bummer for us that want to recreate by riding the back country passes. Again, this is worth what you paid for it.

Colorado BDR is great, New Mexico also, I live along the upper half and have done it several times nothing very crazy there (not like Utah), have not made the southern part but hopefully will.

Welcome back, glad you are OK. Looking forward to 2022 and seeing what it brings. In response to one of your reasons for falling off on production for the channel, family might “get in the way” but it should always be a priority as it appears to be for you. If your family is behind you the rest will be OK.
Indeed. Sometimes it is hard to remember but I remind myself often that the tradeoff is 100% worth it. The time for MY plans will come but in the meantime, keeping up with the fam is a full time job. Thanks for the check in and hopefully we can finally get something worthwhile planned for next year. ;-)
Keep it up, unfortunately life gets in the way of the things we really want to do. I'm thinking of doing the Wyoming BDR this summer too. I lived in Laramie, WY for about three years and am super excited about the BDR.

I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from channel as I am brand new to adventure bike riding and moto camping . Also I'm getting a second motorcycle in 2022 my first adventure motorcycle. I have been riding now for 6 years but only on the street. I currently have a Yamaha fjr1300es now. I'm going to purchase a 2022 Kawasaki klr 650 .
