- English:
The Family Jams is the first cassette by the newly renamed Marilyn Manson, since changing their name from Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, released in 1992. Despite this it was actually the band's eighth official cassette, and the fifth to be sold publicly.
*The cassette was titled after the namesake of an album written by American serial killer Charles Manson, and recorded by the infamous Manson Family in 1970.

R.i.P. Scott Petusky & R.I.P. Brad Stewart, miss those days MM & the spooky were the best much more original. I miss playing At the Plus 5 , Churchills Hideaway, the Button South, Squeeze, the Cell Block, Washington Square. The Slammies every year w I was the lead singer for Jesus H. Christ. Wow seems like yesterday..😢
This version of Dope Hat is awesome. It sounds scarier for some reason

Each one of their cassettes seemed to get better and better all the way to Refrigerator, Manson Family Album, and ultimately Portrait Of An American Family. which was peak for Spooky Kids.
His local releases were better in many ways than his major label stuff, there was more flexibility and possibility before it became streamlined and branded for mass consumption. I was fortunate enough to be in South Florida and see them perform live many times under both The Spooky Kids and ultimately MM. Looking at Miami now , it seems unbelievable a band like this emrgerged from there.
I think Marilyn Manson's old stuff in general was better after I discovered it months ago. Portrait of an American family is the last great thing they've made. And it's basically the last thing that feels like Marilyn Manson and the spooky kids.
@@qweeftyred check out "Live as Hell" if you haven't already, that's still my personal favorite out of everything he ever released. Saw many of their local shows back then, great performance art stuff going on during those shows as well, he was always great with aesthetic and art direction, wish he would've kept some of that cartoonish aspect, I think it would've given him more flexibility in the long run instead of being so streamlined and standardized
I totally agree Marilyn Manson & the spooky kids was soo original & unique when they came out with the commercial crap everything changed. I’m just happy I saw them back then as well many times even got to play with my band in all the same venues. That time was just very special & magical you had to be there to understand🤘🏻⚡️✨🎶😉
Wow you're crazy lucky, I would do anything to see them when they were still The Spooky Kids.
Omg that version of Dogma is outstanding
Genial ese artwork, nunca lo había visto en buena calidad
La verdad acabo de descubrirlo y eso que soy fan de Manson desde hace poco mas de 20 años
Definitely one of their best demo tapes🔥🙏🏼
His voice is like liquid sex
Wow Luci in the Sky with Demons became Man that You Fear
Some of the lyrics from Luci in the Sky with Demons ended up in Angel With the Scabbed Wings too!
