That is really a matter of preference. I gave the lamp another life, made it look like it used to when it was new. Yes, for some it looks good uncleaned and rusty but this channel is about restoration. Also, this model is wide spread here so no rarities were manipulated.
How awesome. Such a great work 👍👍
Thanks a lot! 🍻
Omgggg, this is the best lamp I've ever seen!
😍
That's a hot blast lantern.
Good lanterns
came so close to breaking that glass with the hammer. had me crazy watching you bang so close to the glass.
Great! Just awesome! Bravo to the master!
I'm glad to hear it 🍻
I enjoyed, thank you.
Nice work, ive got several of these in the to do pile, great inspiration 👍👍
Thank you and good luck! Lamps like these are fun to restore and use 😉
Awsome!
Thanks man 🙏
Nice work! But IMHO you're wasting too much putty. Try to make some thin layers instead of one thick and also try to use rubber spatules.
Thank you, that's a very good point!
👍😘
I would have used an epoxy paint, something really strong.
@@King_TuTT that seems reasonable . Luckily my paint wasn't too bad but epoxy paint is definitely stronger
Just one question. Why did you need to virtually destroy this vintage masterpiece ?

Una de las peores restauraciones q he visto demasiada masilla
