On the music city miracle you have to look where Wychek releases the ball not where his feet are. His arm comes forward and he releases the ball slightly in front of the yard line.
Yeah if you look up the full sequence you can even see the announcers figure it out too, that throw will never be recreated by any player ever, RIP Wycheck
It's also an exact lateral lol. From the side view, it goes side to side and doesn't go forward at all, but from the view in this video it looks like it's thrown forward about a yard. Crazy play.
It was even better for me because I had to watch the game at a friends house and his whole family were patriot fans. Needless to say I didn’t stay there long after the game 😂
1:33 Jersey's are designed to only rip from the bottom, now. That's why when you see it happen nowadays, it's usually someone holding onto the jersey while it keeps ripping further and further, but the middle/top of the jersey doesn't tear away. Almost looks like the players jersey is made out of something that can stretch on some Mr.Fantastic shit lol.
So on the earl campbell clip that team often used tear away jersey for him since if you grabbed the jersey it would rip off and they wouldn’t be able to grab and tackle them but it was eventually banned since he’d go through like 6 jerserys a game
If both an offensive and a defensive player have possession (Tied possession is what the commentary team called it I believe) of the football in the endzone, the offensive player is always favored. Learned this the hard way when when PS2 (Pat Surtain II) picked off Jordan Love in the endzone, but Romeo Doubs grabbed it and they both came down with it. Thank God we still won that game between that and the deflection TD.
MMG is such a casual lol. No hate, its just funny. Like him talking about how there are rules about intentionally fumbling forward not realising they were literally created because of that play
If that "lateral" by the titans vs the bills was called a forward pass then the Jaguars would have won that super bowl vs kurt warner and the rams. The jags that year were too good, only the titans could beat them that year
Thanks for saying “dog water”. I literally just thought 5 minutes ago I gotta change the dog water and wipe her bowl. Totally forgot until you said that. My dog says thank you lol.
fun fact . the giants player who intercepted it and then fumbled it was released after the game but his teammate was commended for his effort in trying to keep him in the end zone .
Every highlight video is triggering as a saints fan because at the minimum the video is guaranteed to have the Minneapolis Miracle and Beast Quake plays😢
As a newer frequent watcher of MMG every day I learn how much more and more each video of how papa is an NFL casual
fr how does he not know saban coached in the nfl lol
I still can’t get over the fact that Matt didn’t remember the 2018 Bears
Fr
Same
Prime trubisky
I’m the biggest bears fan ever so that hurt
I wish I could go back in time
4:12 “oh wait is that Devin Hester?!” I’m tired of Matt not knowing football 😪
First time I've seen him and was thinking the same thing 😂

MMG never fails to entertain us
The #8 for the oilers who made the lateral throw with the under hand toss is archie manning
It's also an exact lateral lol. From the side view, it goes side to side and doesn't go forward at all, but from the view in this video it looks like it's thrown forward about a yard. Crazy play.
@@MFBloosh you're right but he's talking about the play at 12:43
As a dolphins fan watching the Miami miracle live was crazy I was so happy
It was even better for me because I had to watch the game at a friends house and his whole family were patriot fans. Needless to say I didn’t stay there long after the game 😂

How did MMCasual not know that Nick Saban was a Miami coach?
not just a Miami coach, the HEAD coach
I mean, I didn't know and I watch football a lot...
@briancollar4104 yeah, he coached in the 2000's, and didn't do alot, so his Alabama career definitely overshadows his Miami career
@@nathanos42 yeah, IDC about the dolphins, so don't be upset that I have never heard of Nick saban
that raiders vs chargers clip is actually the play that caused that intentional fumble rule to be made

im a eagles fan when Cody missed that field goal I cried tears to joy
its not even just that he missed it. an eagles defender tipped it

Yeah but it wasn’t 50 50, Jenkins had like 95% of the ball
Also, on the PS2 play, Dean Blandino said it was supposed to be an interception because although both (kinda) had possession, PS2 hit the ground first
Papa and slur elliams
Seahawks fans deserved that call after our Super Bowl against the Steelers
Yo Matt do the craziest stat lines… there’s some crazy ones
Papa is looking extra scrumptious today
yo what
Before 1 hour gang
that 76 yard rush by Steve Bono is such a wild play. just walks it into the end zone
according to the rule back then field goals were basicly punts
They played with tear away jerseys for a minute that’s why they tore so easy 😂
MMG is such a casual lol. No hate, its just funny. Like him talking about how there are rules about intentionally fumbling forward not realising they were literally created because of that play
That Steve Bono play is one of my favourite Jon Bois videos
It should be live
Im so excited to test nnn again by watching papas face cam for 16 min
Me too bro
y'all crazy 💀💀
1:05 you don’t remember Nick Sabin as a Dolphins coach 😂
I watch every video i love mmg
That's the Holy Roller which spawned the Holy Roller rule where the offence can't advance the ball after a fumble after a certain time in the game.
Did y’all know the double doink was actually barley tipped that caused the kick to curve just enough to hit the upright
I miss "Tennessee Alumni" Robert Meachem.. he was in this a few times (WR #17 for the Saints)
the second clip is something only the giants would do
Papa that was Sammy Baugh commanders legend with the behind the back pass
Honestly having cars just chilling on the sideline is kinda fire, just imagine having fucking lambos just posted up in the background
If that "lateral" by the titans vs the bills was called a forward pass then the Jaguars would have won that super bowl vs kurt warner and the rams. The jags that year were too good, only the titans could beat them that year
Yet the Rams beat the Titans
It wasn’t forward look at where he threw it and look at where he caught it. Both on 25
1:05 another MMCASUAL moment
Thanks for saying “dog water”. I literally just thought 5 minutes ago I gotta change the dog water and wipe her bowl. Totally forgot until you said that. My dog says thank you lol.
never disappoints
The real miracle in the Minneapolis miracle is that the safety was dumb enough to dive when diggs jumped.
About the one where you said that it kinda looked like it was an intentional fumble, that was actually the play that made them make the rule
Nick saben in that clip is Coaching the Jacksonville jaguars
You can Nevere fail with any of papas videos
that dan connell kick return is like in madden when you truck too early but the cpu doesn’t react right and just goes right past you anyway
That Earl Campbell Jersey was designed to tear. Just watched a doc on the history of the uniform.
63 almost running that back let’s me know NFL lineman can run faster then 90% of normal people
13:27 I’m pretty sure the rules against intentional forward fumbles were made because of that play.
15:51 “I love boys”
Love your video, Meags, and keep up the great work you are awesome
Within an hour gng 👇🏻
Papa MEAGSSS!!!
Back then there weren’t rules against intentional advancement of the ball
That packers falcons game at 8:20 just looks so bulky and slow in the cold snowy weather, and it just feels like football
What about the McAfee onside kick self-recovery?
oh yeah
MEAGGGSSS
MMCASUAL for not knowing the 2018 Bears and Nick Saban being the coach of the dophlins
Funny how he talks about if jersey quality has gotten better and nfl throwback has a video going over the evolution of nfl jerseys
Saban was a dolphins coach before he went to Alabama
he kinda sucked as a fins coach
When dude said Zane Gonzalez and Cade York when this was years ago man 😂
Papa is lowkey a casual
fun fact . the giants player who intercepted it and then fumbled it was released after the game but his teammate was commended for his effort in trying to keep him in the end zone .
5:01 why did it actually piss me off when he said cade york. Dude was drafted in 2022 this clip is from ike 2018
The "No Call" is also one of the worst calls in NFL history
I showed up 15 seconds into you starting this video because I like your content
That Packers Seahawks play was the last play of the NFL ref strike. That was the worst call in NFL history
At 13:20 at the raiders play, yes that was an intentional fumble and the rules for it were created because of that play
Still surprised Sam Rosen once announced nfl games
Nah but Cody parkeys kick got tipped
I am never gonna escape the Minneapolis Miracle because Marcus Williams doesn’t know how to make a basic tackle.
8:44- 8:48
💀
Common papi W
Andrew Beck Kick Return TD
always hilarious to see the madden guy be absolutely clueless about the nfl
The cuts mid play make it hard to follow. Good video regardless mr. Meags
Mcduffie/Cook from last week in Germany will be in here
lets gooooooo!!
Amazing
Joe Jurevicious was a dawg
Me at 7:25 not waiting for an 8 year old to say gyat
If digs did not stay inbounds the Vikings still would have had time to kick a field goal.
They forgot to put when jimmy g got a safety and threw a pick 6 on the same play
0:33 hambuger in the endzone
The titans foot was behind the line on that lateral that’s why it was legal. I remember watching that game
12:48 that’s Archie Manning since u asked Matt
Let’s goo papa
Love the vids
Where did that angle of the immaculate reception come from 😂😂 tf
14:20 vick always has one
The double doink was blocked so it changed the direction that it was going
Do some research on the Music City Miracle and watch his throwing motion.
9:37 his knee touched🥲
Block in the back on the first one on crosby
As a Bears fan i have PTSD from that 2018 missed FG by Cody Parkey. So don't ever bring that up or I will go berserk
No one realizes the double doink was tipped
Fun fact the double doink was tipped by a eagle
The Cody Parker kick wasn’t even his fault it was tipped by one of the eagles D linemen
sabin was miami’s coach for a bit
for guys that dont know back then it was were the ball was released accoridng to some nfl fans and the NFL itself
8:57 bro just went out of bounds
Every highlight video is triggering as a saints fan because at the minimum the video is guaranteed to have the Minneapolis Miracle and Beast Quake plays😢
From the 1 inch line 💀
The bears vs eagles game Cody missed the field goal cause one of the Eagles players tipped it
