    The most sacred and beloved of all places in the whole wide world to me is this place here-Canal Number 2 Polder.

    Hi Naresh. From a younger growing up, I've heard of Canal Polder. Famous for the sweetest pineapple 🍍. I take it that it's all grown in the back lands from your dron footage. Please keep posting. When are you going to do a Berbice trip and show my town of NA. Many thanks.

    I still don’t understand why there are more canals than roads, and the canals are wider than the roads. Hmmmm

    • @thebronx-kr9ns
      @thebronx-kr9ns Рік тому

      The canals were predominantly used for industrial farming such as Kane, rice, and provision

      @@thebronx-kr9ns Very true, but that industry gave way to residential and commercial development many years ago and we still maintain a plantation system of drainage and irrigation. All we did was to asphalt some of the dams and build house. Our infrastructure need an upgrade.

      Guyana is six feet under sea level that is why there is so many canals trenches sidelines and kokers it is to drain the land .
