They're competing with IZ*ONE, Itzy and Everglow, groups who are coming from already established companies _(Itzy is with JYP, one of the big 3!!)_. Considering their company (Kiwipop) is small and GWSN is their first group, I think their debut went pretty much as expected, _if not better_. Personally, I really like Pinky Star *because* it had the same type of sound has Puzzle Moon. From what I've observed, most people reacted positively to the song. They're a new group that needs to establish some type of sound for themselves. If they start changing their sound and aesthetic too soon, they'll potentially lose fans _(like NU'EST for example)_. Miya _has_ brought the group a lot of attention, but the other group members are _just_ as skilled and charming. Plus, their fanbase in Korea seems to be growing nicely if you listen to the fanchats during their performances. GWSN is just having difficulty attracting international fans, so rather than predicting they will flop so soon, your time might be better spent spreading awareness about the group.
