Beautiful! Perfect yarn is made by a machine, and even then not always perfect! And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think your yarn and spending time spinning and being in the yard is the best! Enjoyed watching your video very much!
I am currently learning how to spin long draw for a course I am doing in New Zealand. I have enjoyed hearing about you spinning on your porch and open water swimming. I have recently moved to New Zealand and am learning how to swim, I find I am quite anxious but it is also a very special experience. Enjoy your spinning and swimming. I have been lucky enough to swim with with dolphins.

I spin almost exclusively long draw. I spin a lot on a great wheel, and support spindles, so woolen is the way to go. Your vacation seems lovely, enjoy it!

Those rolags were beautiful and you have spun some wonderful yarn. long draw is my favourite way to spin, though I do have a lot of combed top in my fibre stash so do often default back to short forward. You said it's 25*C and you feel like it's warm, I'm right there with you! I've decided I'm living in the wrong climate where I am where it gets up to 37*C on a "normal" summer day. But for me 25*C would be way too cold to go swimming so you're a tougher lady than I am, Ha! Ha! I am spinning as I watch you spin, it's wool from my finnsheep that I dyed with peach leaves to a pretty sage green.
