2Pac wasn’t set to star in Independence Day before he died.
He died September 96, and the movie was already out in July 96, and filmed in 95.

Vlad, Independence Day came out before Tupac passed away. And from a few very reliable sources there was no chance in casting him in that film. Casting for Independence Day started back in 95 while he was still in prison and carried on over until the early part of 96. The studios were not ready to take a chance on him in a big budget film like that right away
The story about him being cast as a Jedi in Stars Wars is very accurate.

Vlad needs to stop saying that Pac was going to be in the movie Independence Day but passed away before he could be in that movie. Not true at all. Especially given the fact that Independence Day was released during the summer of 1996, July 4th I believe. I went to see it in the theaters as a kid, so I know. Pac was still ALIVE during the summer of 1996. What really happened was the director or studio were considering Tupac for the main role in Independence Day and had him read the script to audition for it but ultimately the studio decided not to choose Pac was because of all of his legal troubles, and that’s why he wasn’t in the movie. Stop it Vlad
