The more you listen to Black Sabbath the more undeniable it is they're one of the best Fairies Wear Boots & Children of the Grave would be great Sabbath songs to react to Great stuff!
I was a teen when this song came out. I bought the eight trac from Black Sabbath and I would go to sleep listening to the whole thing. Black Sabbath is one of my favor bands. It's kind of crazy that people would be hearing this from 50 years ago. Mind Blowing!
It’s really cool you recognize drummers who play WITH the guitarists/band - not just setting a beat everyone has too follow- not everyone notices that👍
The drummer was bill ward the GOAT of drums but on the real, each one of them was a master at what they did. The guitarist helped all the bands in the 70s like queen. The bass player wrote 90 percent of the lyrics. Without these dudes, modern rock and Heavy metal would not exist. They are the Godfathers of Heavy Metal, a mixer of Jazz and blues. That's whats making our heads bob. Jazz and blues that's the ingredients for Black Sabbath.
You are one of two people that have acknowledged Bill Ward's drumming as some of the best in the business. A lot of people say that led Zeppelin's drummer, John Bonham is the best. This guy Bill Ward is by far the best drummer in rock history
That's cool that you really dig this song Reckless, to me this was always one of the most underrated songs from early Black Sabbath, everybody wanted paranoid and Iron Man War Pigs which are all very cool in their own right... but this song was so diverse because it had that Slinky Jazzy beginning then it tears into this heavy riff and then goes off into another completely different Realm, just blew me away, my best friend and I at 12 years old heard it for the first time and were completely hooked!!
lol I can hear something in background, dishes? But nice to see your reaction, not my fav but hey not my journey.I can appreciate what you liked about it
THIS IS FROM JUST THEIR 2ND ALBUM ( PARANOID ) THE FOLLOW UP TO THEIR DEBUT ( BLACK SABBATH ) SO 1970 : ELECTRIC FUNERAL, RAT SALAD, FAIRIES WEAR BOOTS :) YOU MOST LIKELY KNOW WAR PIGS, IRON MAN, AND PARANOID, THOSE WERE THE 3 MAIN FM RADIO HITS. :) BUT YEAHHH LOTS YOU CAN DO.
The original Black Sabbath - Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) & Bill Ward (drums) ... they were the band from 1968 until 1979 and recorded the groundbreaking first 8 albums... 'Hand of doom' was from the 2nd album 'Paranoid' in 1970. Bill Ward did the drums for the 1980 album 'Heaven & hell' w/ vocalist Ronnie James Dio (who replaced Ozzy) but left the band right after... he did not like playing in Black Sabbath without Ozzy... Ward did record the 1983 Sabbath album 'Born again' (w/ vocalist Ian Gillan in the band) but declined to tour. Unfortunately, Bill Ward's long history w/ alcohol & drug abuse hampered his skills on drums, but he's been clean nowadays and plays drums in a solo band. He only played on one more Black Sabbath album - the live double CD 'Reunion' in 1998 (Ward played drums on 1 of 2 studio tracks on the album - 'Psycho man')
I don't know if you know this. At the age of 17, Guitarist Tony Iommi lost the tips of the middle and ring fingers of his right hand in an industrial accident; so, being left handed he was told he would never play guitar again. He tried, but was unable to play right handed, so he made false finger tips for himself by melting plastic to fit the tops of his fingers. Then he filed these plastic thimbles he made into to the shape of fingers, then covering them in leather.
Hey you want more Black Sabbath the godfathers of heavy metal you got it. What I think you should react to next is what I consider Black Sabbath’s most underrated and most underappreciated song but I think it’s a masterpiece it’s called headless cross.
I want you to "see" Bill Ward do his thing. Try "War Pigs" live in France (1970). I know you did the fan made video of Pigs, it's crap compared to watching it live.
Cool reaction man. Recommend "A National Acrobat" from the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. Another great song is "Supernaut" from the Vol. 4 album, drums are wicked!
He had a very abusive father who had him by the balls with the contract Sharon who he married is the daughter of Ozzy's manager which was her father she fought to get him out of that contract and she did then he went on his own
Bill Ward, one of the greatest rock drummers, EVER!
Exactly what I was going to say.....word for word!
Yes. He gets overlooked by almost everyone
It's a hip hop drum flow in 1969. Bill Ward is the best drummer I've ever heard.

Ya symptom of the universe is amazing.
The end of that song still blows my mind every time I hear it

Jazz and blues that's the ingredients for Black Sabbath.
Yes! Finally😂 favorite og metal song ever; all 4 of them put on crazy performances; but that groovy drum line😍
Bill Ward goes stupid on the drums in the song The Wizard by Black Sabbath. You should definitely check it out🔥
Serious message in this song for sure. Early Sabbath is the best Sabbath in my opinion.
The original lineup was
Ozzy Osbourne - Vocals
Bill Ward - drums
Geezer Butler - Bass
Tony Iommi - Guitar
Bill Ward is a drumming God
Top tier Sabbath this. Saw this played live and it was sooooo good.
Off Black Sabbath's last album with Ozzy check out Loner and End of the Beginning official videos they are kick ass
Nice. An old favorite. Drumming kills!
Snowblind or Wheels of Confusion/the Straightener is what I think you would appreciate most at this point in your Sabbath journey.
Now you gotta try “Planet Caravan” and “Symptom of the Universe”
Such a nice surprise from Sabbath and the jazzy guitar at the end - YUM
This and symptom of the universe are the two best black Sabbath songs ever . And don't argue with me , I'll fight you

It is indeed Bill Ward. The original and best Sabbath drummer.
I don't know if you've ever checked out the Paris 1970 version of War Pigs. Bill ward goes absolutely HAM on the drums.
