Oh my freakin lord that’s a shed load of slugs and snails 🐌. She’s a lovely dog 🐶. Oh I must remember to clean up and feed my strawberry 🍓 plants for “winter”. Your compost looks fantastic Ivan much better than bought. Nothing better than some fresh spuds you’ve grown yourself. Have a super week Ivan and happy growing, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
@@myrustygarden hello Ali thanks for watching & your comment 👍👍 had a wet night so had a Quick Look around & got that lot in like 5 minutes I’m sure if I keep looking I find more 🐌🐌 & slugs 👌 she’s a soppy dog really loves a got sniff around 😁😁 it was nice little harvest of potatoes had a few yesterday . I had a problem with snails until last year when i put salt everywhere to block them coming in and have not seen any since☺
@@AnneHeyns hello Anne thank for watching & your comment 👍👍 I’ve seen people do that for weeds as well I’m a bit unsure about using salt may self knowing my luck I kill everything in sight. Ivan
@@upbeet863 I didnt put it close to my plants but well away and all around - snails dont pass the salt - it was the only thing that worked- they didnt even try to come back this year - not seen a single one☺
