I know old video, so ya'll may have updated this already. But that Coquette seemed like it was still running base GTA handling lines. Looked like any time he was back on flat ground it backed off down to 120mph, which is about where all the vanilla cars sit if you don't tune them. With the TOS changes coming, ya'll should consider re-tuning local cars for a little more spice in your chases! Video was dope tho!

Ah yes, pointing a gun at someone randomly, and then tasing a suspect that was just running, attemting murder with a pepper spray at the suspent clearly not defending himself and then screaming for half a minute. Very realistic.
*does 103mph over a hill, hits a local yielding appropriately* "The local pulled out in front of me!"
Certified cop moment
The “local” was yielding into the median after being passed on the right hand side by the primary pursuit unit. The median happened to be the path pf travel that the secondary pursuit unit was using. Secondary was lining up to pass the “local” on the right when the “local” turned back into the primary lane of travel, causing the secondary to again alter his path of travel.
After a careful review we have determined that the party at fault is the suspect who fled from a lawful arrest in a stolen vehicle.

Most accurate part is the cop blaming a civilian for his own mess-up. The immersion is off the charts.

At 8:16 we see the secondary unit traveling in the median while pursuing the suspect vehicle. The primary unit approached the vehicle in question and overtook it from the right side while in pursuit at a high rate of speed. The primary unit lost traction after hitting the outside perimeter of the road, but corrected and continued pursuit.
At the point the vehicle in question began pulling into the median which the secondary unit was pursuing along. We can see by slowing down the video that the secondary unit reduces speed, and appears to prepare to overtake the vehicle in question off of the right side in the primary traffic lane. The vehicle in question then pulls away from the median and back into the primary traffic lane, which causes the secondary unit to again turn back into the median to avoid a direct collision. The result is that the secondary unit clipped the vehicle in question on the left rear bumper with the secondary unit’s front right push bar.
It is reasonable for the secondary unit to perceive that the vehicle in question pulled in front of him, as it veered from pulling into the median to the primary lane of traffic.
After a review of the evidence, we have determined that the fault lies with the suspect vehicle who chose to flee from a lawful arrest and endanger the public at large. The officers in pursuit, and the operator of the struck vehicle, all were acting as reasonably as possible in an unreasonable situation. We find no fault with either party involved in the collision.

I like how your 2-way radios actually are implemented to have the realistic functions. Like the mobile radio in the car, handheld while walking. It's cool how it also had the busy tone when you and the other trooper were keying your mics.

Also by the way, in real life the EcoBoost Ford Explorer is faster both top speed and acceleration than the Charger. This is something that pretty much every server gets wrong :(
Not every Explorer uses the suped up ecoboost CHP's do sometimes, but most are not equipped like that. CHP chargers typically rock the 5.7 hemi, a 10 speed automatic, and AWD, and are quite a bit faster than the Explorers, but there are a decent amount of the V6 AWD models as well. It just depends really.

That's exaclty the same thing I thought as soon as I saw the cop going back in the suv after the stop.
I mean if I was in the corvette guy: "I have a Corvette, I'm on highway, he's busy checking my id, I go, I disappear"
Sorry guys, need to say there's no way you can call this a RP server if you spend money on a Corvette and it's slower than a SUV.
recommendation for this vid, air unit for tracking mode due to the unsafe speeds for road conditions, or if you dont have a air unit maybe call off the pursuit and put a warrant out due to you having there id. and UOF was violated as the person was tased and unless he was fighting when you went hands on pepper spray was excessive force bc he was tased and he was giving up
This is not me being rude or anything but just wanna explain the whole pepper spray thing. While he may not of been resisting the officers in anyway, pepper spray can be used on individuals when going for an arrest or detain, this neutralizes the suspects vision, lessening the chance of injuries for officers. Can't see can't fight. Just because someone surrenders initially doesn't mean anything when they're willing to risk their own lives and the lives of others going excess of 130 at one point in the video. I get this is a game but its true for irl aswell, its called the 1-plus rule; officers, under normal circumstances, are allowed to use one level of force above the amount of force used by the suspect/attacker/adversary.
@@Potat550 After the suspect was tased, he was incapacitated. He also stated that "I'm done" which a reasonable person would believe to be as "surrendering", meaning the officers should be using the "Compliant" use of force level, which are verbal commands. At no point did the suspect resist actively or passively after he was tased, giving that officer no right to use pepper spray on the suspect. The 1-plus rule does not apply here since the suspect was actively surrendering verbally. You are essentially saying that officers can pepper spray suspects that are surrendering, which is an extreme violation of the 4th Amednment
@@cia5602 What I'm saying is pepper spray can be used to ensure officer safety during an arrest, I'm not saying an officer should pepper spray someone for surrendering. A suspect can say he's done all he wants but when he's willing to risk the lives of others and himself, and has already escaped once before their is no such thing is "im done". Compliant is down on your knees, feet crossed hands raised and facing away. Or faced away with hands behind back, fingers interlaced like their praying. Compliant is not driving excess 120, escaping once then trying to escape again and ontop of that refusing to put your hands out to your sides after multiple orders to do so and plenty of chances. So yes +1 is involved, theirs a reason it's called pain compliance.
In real police lingo we call it “passive resistance”. You’re not “actively” resisting by running or fighting but you’re “passively” resisting by not listening, complying, or obeying commands that are being lawfully ordered.
@@Potat550You could technically fight back when you get pepper sprayed. Granted, you’re not going to be effective at all, but if someone just starts flailing around like they’re in a mosh pit, then I’d steer clear.

I’ve noticed in many of your videos that your server does not use the common DoJRP Status (10) Codes. May I ask where you base your codes from?
We use the real life codes and policies from the agencies the server is based off of. Which all reside within the county of San Diego

Is that the DOJ SAHP explorer? Might need an upgrade if you're looking for realism just saying. Also you should've never walked over to the other unit while setting up a code five stop. Good way to die if the subject is dangerous. And your driving was not realistic even for GTA standards.

Not to be that guy or anything but that didn't seem that realistic to me. Maybe agencies in other states operate a little differently, so I won't claim anything was done wrong. The proper course of action IRL where I am from would be to immediately switch to felony stop once that tag came back stolen.

The lights are graphic mods from NVE, the megaphone is voicemod, and I don’t want to say the name of the radio mod because the devs are toxic. We will be switching to Sonoran soon though
I don't understand how someone has the time to script a whole real-life scenario on a video game. Do you guys write scripts? The whole experience looks like a very steep learning curve, from learning police codes to learning in game commands.
It’s not scripted. You just learn overtime how to play the game. We train our members on law enforcement tactics.

I have a buddy who works part time as a deputy on his days off from the game and fish commission. There is a body cam footage of him knocking on a door responding to a domestic (as a deputy) and announcing “game warden” after he knocks.
Routine is a powerful thing.
