Actually In Korea, the culture of slurping food is not polite thing. However, since the popularity of mukbang content, it seems that it has been about 10 years since it became a trend because people who eat with slurp sound are considered to enjoy food. It is not recommended to do it in a formal setting. (In Japan, it is known as polite behavior.)
A little update : Mr Paik has since become close to the bts members, especially Jin! There is a whole show called "Jin's traditional alcohol journey" where the both of them went to a master to learn the craft of making alcohol. It's a must-watch! You'll see how comfortable they are and how close they are with each other now. Jin even visits his house and cook food together

There are SO MANY variations it's weird to know how Americans have only one type of fried rice... interesting In India there are Schezwan fried rice, Indo Chinese fried rice, Peri Peri fried rice, veg fried rice, egg fried rice, Seafood fried rice SO MANY like just whatever it's available to you
