[GBA] Kuru Kuru Kururin - Adventure Mode Longplay (Normal, no miss*)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 жов 2024
- This video aims for getting a star icon (never get hit!) on every stage of adventure mode using normal difficulty. I does not aim for the fastest time. ▼ Chapter markers below ▼
The run is not displayed in realtime. While everything was done in one session, unsuccessful runs (per stage) were edited out for viewing experience reasons! And I missed one collectible in Cave 2, which is a blemish :[
Note, Jan 08 2019: I may redo this using GBI, which will provide for much better video quality, while having an opportunity to make a realtime video of the run and collect that sibling I missed here.

Kuru Kuru Kururin © 2001 Nintendo / Eighting
This game was my childhood. My first game and I regret nothing.
You played this in your CHILDHOOD!!??? How did you not rage???
If you like the first one, I can wholeheartedly recommend the two sequels as well: Kururin Paradise on the GBA and Kururin Squash on the GameCube - especially the former. :)
Overall, the games are among my all-time favorites.
They're of that arcade-y easy-to-grasp-hard-to-master type due to finely tuned gameplay mechanics and stage design, while being an absolute delight audiovisually. And the quest of beating all of the games' pre-set stage clear times opens up a whole meta-game on its own that can be immensely fun and addictive - the games just keep on giving of you want to keep playing.
Did you know that the games credit a certain Masahiro Yuge of Toaplan fame for "Course Design" and "Original Concept"?
Many people probably know Toaplan for the old "All your base are belong to us" meme, but Toaplan is also known for their (mostly) exquisite oeuvre of old-school type shoot 'em up games. In short, some Toaplan employees later worked for Eighting, and I think you can see how some of that craft might have had an impact on Kururin. :D

@@Retroboxx WOW
All pieces of music in this game are light and awesome.
2001: Puzzle game
2023: Herta alarm
such an amazing game, fun, easy, simplistic, amazing music, adictive, a damn winner. There are a lot of good games but this one is just different.
I wouldn't say easy but it's definitely satisfying to beat
@@zachatck64 easy to understand i mean,
Now playable on Switch Online!
One of the hardest games i have ever played in my life
Cuphead 🤨
So this explains the trophy in SSBM and the Assist Trophy in Brawl.
Great game! the GBA had so many gems, it's amazing.
For real. I remember getting to pick a game when I was with my dad. It was either a big game or multiple cheaper games. I would pick multiple and be the happiest kid
2001: an original gba game about spinning helicopter in a maze like top down level
2023: an anime character spinning WHILE LISTENING AN BACKGROUND MARIO MUSIC FROM AN ENDING THEME ON SNES
God this game is so difficult >w
oh my god this takes me back a few years
I have yet to breake the highscore on 2 or 3 of the last levels. Such an awesome game!
I know why you all are here. Wrong game guys... Instead, enjoy this classic masterpiece.
i remember playing this a few years ago, sad that i ended up losing it. :(
Really cute game but i was sad when brother was playing it. So worried about this poor birdie. And i wondered why he was sad at the beginning. The star land birdie was a girl and so beautiful
This brings back memories!!
I was looking for herta noises and got here
lololol same
Loved this on my GBA. Someone should do an indie game with the same concept!
There's a game on Switch called Spinfrog that's like this
@@DuBstepAnDa98 Thanks!
What was that one spin-off of this online for the pc? I think the step mania dev made it or something. Like hoki hoki or something.
Kuru Kuru Kururin, a.k.a. Time to Twirl!
Just thought about this game. Played it a lot as a kid. They could make a second one of this :D
Feel free to check out Kururin Paradise and Kururin Squash :)
I used to play this game around February 2023 in the Nintendo Switch (usually the GBA Online)
why do you say used to like that was a long time ago?
Love this gam. Nice skills
GOAL
literally this game became more popular due to a sound in Honkai Star Rail xd
I wonder how many people will end up here because of the Herta meme from Honkai Star Rail
Wait a minute ... This isn't Herta?
This should have been a full series.
Well, the series comprises of 3 games; there's also Kururin Paradise and Kururin Squash. Feel free to try the other ones too!
Schon lang nichts mehr von dir gehört/gesehen ^^
Ocean stage has the best music.
I prefer the music of cave stage
@@hassage267 I like the star/galaxy stage,too.
No, Last land has the best music
not me from honkai star rail
Herta moment
Is this the same game that's on the stone of advancement in pikmin 4?
I had to look this up, and, yes it is! Warms my heart to see the game appreciated again in some official capacity, even if it's just a cameo. :D
Most certainly it relates to the fact that Eighting (the studio that developed the Kururin games) were involved in the development of Pikmin 4, and handled Pikmin 3 Deluxe previously.
Haha paréce canción de verano en japón quemando fuegos artificiales.
What do u have to do to play the last 3 stages?
Still better then Lord Karnage :D
Quanti bei momenti con questo gioco.
This seems like a TAS but played legitimately
maybe the english title of the game should be "Time to twirl!"
It’s kinda reminds me of Mario party seven minigame battery ram except the pool rotates automatically instead of you, rotating it manually with two players
Does it remind you of the battery ram from Mario party seven?
MDRIA MIA WILI NO ME LO CREO CHAVAL OSTIA ME CAGO EN TODO VIVA ESPAÑA

It's also on Wii U Virtual Console.

Epic music for a pretty mediocre puzzle game.
It's good but it's not meant to be played for a long time. It's more for short burst
