I haven't seen a Lincoln that year in black. It looks awesome. Gangster and sinister looking with class. Air suspension and beef up the 460 with turbos to pump out 1,000hp. Bigger wheels but keep the same design. Secret compartment for my peace maker's.

Lincoln, what a Luxury Car Should Be. A few family relatives drove Lincoln’s.
One of my dad’s older sisters my aunts husband had a 2 Coupe Green Jade Mercury Grand Marquis brought it brand new, drove it around for a few years.
The next three years he buys a 1977 or 78 Mark V. It was one of the Fashion Designer Series. It was loaded to the max with every option you can think 🤔
of. It was one of the top of the line Models.
What ever option you can think 💭 or it had it. I have an older female cousin that had a 1975 or 76 Top of the line Lincoln Continental 2Dr Town Coupe with every available option you can think 🤔 of. The Ride was a copper or bronze color with a landau tan padded leather roof and a Powered Glass Moon 🌙 Roof.
Every time the family members and relatives would have a BBQ 🍗 🍖 cookout I
remember how they would arrive and drive up to the pick nick area where we would meet and gather and get together. I remember really enjoyed admired and looking at both the Lincoln Continental 2Dr Town Coupe and the Mark V.
What Rides they were back then. Our dad had a really good friend that had a 1972 or 73 Lincoln Continental 2Dr Town Coupe it was a Beige color with a Vinyl Roof with leather interior Dual Matching Remote Control Mirrors AM/FM Radio Stereo with a Power Antenna. Our dad’s car was at the mechanic’s 🧰 being worked on and his friend had a very important meeting that he had to be at and he was going to be all day he would let our Dad use his ride while he was at his meeting and our dad would run errands and would take our mother to work and during that summer I had a summer job. After we dropped off our mom to her job I was next to be taken to my summer job. Ohh 😮 let me tell you what an Amazingly Awesome 😎 Beautiful Ride it was. Mann oh man talk about Cruising and Riding around in the lap of Luxury. That Ride was the Ultimate Epitome of what a Luxuriously, Luxurious Luxury Ride Should Be. You should’ve saw the expression and looks 👀 I got when our dad drove and pulled up right in front of the job where i had to report at. My counselor and some of my co-workers were outside as well.
When our dad drove and pulled in front of where i worked at the expressions and looks that i’ve gotten that day getting out of that Ride. Priceless. It was like the first time that they’ve never seen a Luxurious Luxury Car like that looked like that and at that time the Ride was Pre-owned and was very,very,very well taken care of and treated. To this very day and time I cannot sit back remember and reminisce about those Amazing, Awesome Luxuriously, Luxurious Luxury Rides Like those Lincolns

Always wanted to restomod one of those, put new Lincoln stuff into this body...But that thing is far too pretty to touch...About the only thing I'd do is dual exhaust...The public deserve to hear that engine.

Very nice ride but but when it was idling there is a bad miss..could be from running the fuel too low and if there is any bad or dirty fuel in the tank..or try running fresh high octane fuel and with a new set of spark plugs and a few shots of gumout through the carb?I've owned a couple older Lincolns with the 460 and they need to be kept "in tune"! Very clean ride though! : )

Very nice car! Too bad in 1972 the 460 cubic engine only had 212- 224hp. This car needs more horses under the big long hood! This car is way too heavy for such an under powered engine.
