As a STL supporter it was still a great time. Club América is an incredible team and it was a privilege to see that talent and team cohesion live. The fans were great as well, passionate but respectful. Hopefully our side learns from this and continues to improve.

Great performance by Club America with a new formation and a great attack and defense including St Louis has been great in there first season has been a master class.
Yea the only difference in our formation is we usually have Diego Valdez as a attacking midfielder, he would play right behind Henry Martin but he was out do to injury so Dos santos got some playing time

Didnt really feel like a home game with all of the club america fanfare and not to mention they played the club america goal celebration song everytime they scored. Honestly was pretty disrespectful by the stadium management to do that to stl fans in attendance. Thats like if chelsea at home played real madrid and the stamford bridge stadium management had real madrid fanfare and celebrated with real madrid music when real madrid scored.

I all honesty MLS has lots of money, beautiful stadiums and is expected that they become better as time passes do to everything mentioned. Better than Liga Mx right now? I my opinion not yet they're just a tiny bit behind and so close to being on par, when we see the MLS winning tournaments regularly and not one every 20years like in CCL then we can say theyre on par and the next step would be surpassing Liga Mx but I see Liga Mx holding on to that parity one way or another and that will make for some pretty good games, can't wait to see that and maybe joining Copa Libertadores and see what both leagues can do against the best of south America,Liga Mx has had success and i dont see why MLS wouldn't.
