Olights are great lights I've never had one fail

    Thanks for the review.
Just a suggestion for any future videos... when reviewing lights, try to keep the auto exposure off on your camera. When your camera adjusts automatically, we have a difficult time seeing the effects and brightness of the light. Watch the segment in the bedroom. After the camera adjusts, the viewer can hardly determine the difference between the 800 and 100 lumen light setting.
Just some constructive criticism for next time, otherwise I enjoyed the video and thanks for the review.

Which light did you put on your Sig P365XL? I found your channel searching out Magguts.

It can’t be the best on the market if it’s not supported by the best handgun holster on the market

It's sad to see you promoting Olight stuff, I love your mp5 videos 🥲

Look, Olight makes decent budget lights, but I won't be using an Olight on a $3000 MP5 or any weapon that is of significant value. I have a few Olights, but they mostly sit on budget guns that aren't used much. To each their own, but Olight has pushed their products SO hard that I now KNOW why China owns half of the United States, because EVERYONE is willing to shill their products to make a few bucks...

Guys. I don’t only post MP5 videos. Also, I’ve owned Olight products for years now. What y’all should be saying is, “bro congrats on a company wanting to partner with you for a video. You are a smaller channel so it’s a big deal!”

@@Steve_MP5 Olight is willing to partner with ANYONE that will put their products on UA-cam, cause their advertising model is horrendous and people are just getting tired of seeing their flashlights EVERYWHERE and hearing about a flash sale every other month. Is the money that good to partner with Olight? If it is, than do you my man. I'll still watch every one of your videos that's NOT an Olight commercial, but to have this much energy for an Olight is a little overbearing. Like I said, I own a few myself, but I wouldn't want to be a part of their marketing tactics. I watch and share some of your videos, just not this one is all. Take care bro!

@@Steve_MP5 I don't know why you are willing to damage your reputation with a brand that makes subpar products. I love your other contents and I thought you would stick with quality products. I know it's important for a small channel to establish partnership with manufacturers, but Olight ain't it. This is just my personal opinion, I still appreciate you made all thse mp5 contents that benefited me a lot when I first got into roller locks.

Olight is good for the money I'd even say great for the money... but to claim it's the best weapon light on the market.... Really? Do you even believe that? StreamLight, Surefire and Elzetta all make substantially higher quality and more durable flashlights. And just to clarify, there's nothing wrong with promoting Olight products. Money is money and free product is free product BUT you've got to be honest with yourself and your audience while you promote products.

    • @Steve_MP5

I am being honest. For the money you get a lot of value. I don’t know of any of pistols light that is doing what this one does. Multiple modes and settings that fits on basically any pistol with a pic rail. Give me the name of any other light that does that.

@@Steve_MP5 the fact that it fits on practically any rail size doesn't make it even remotely close to being the best weapon light on the market. Duct tape and a headlamp will also fit on practically any rail size, that doesn't make it the best choice to defend your life. Surefire and Streamlight both make weapon lights for short rail sections. Both of which have a near flawless track record. I own several Olights and have had several fail miserably due to shit electronics and low grade materials used in the switches. Iv never had a surefire fail me at all. Never had a streamlight fail with the exception of one taking a ricochet to the lens and needing a new lense. Again nothing wrong with an Olight as a good budget option but your doing a great disservice to your audience claiming it's the best weapon light on the market. It just isn't. They're made of Chineseum grade aluminum and the electronics in them seem to be extremely hit or miss. My oldest one has lasted me 7 years of nearly daily use and abuse but Iv also had several fail within a week or so of buying them. I will say they honor their warranty and make it a relatively pain-free process to exchange it but then again so does Hi-Point. I love them for camping, edc and other non combat roles but never in a million years would I put one on a fighting pistol or rifle. Too unreliable. Too prone to failure.
