I love the relationship dynamic between Clarke and Lexa. At the beginning, Lexa would never show her vulnerable side to anyone, but as Clarke got to know Lexa, we would see less and less of Lexa with the Heda mark on and see more and more of Lexa’s vulnerable side towards Clarke. The relationship between two powerful women is always the most complex and the one filled with most emotion, vulnerability, and realism.
All these vids need to be played at ClexaCon ASAP

This is incredibly well put together. Congratulations to the creator of this and their evident sense of timing, dramaticism, and story telling via video editing. There are so many small details and so much care is put into the dramatic timing of not only the large beats of the song but of the lyrics that follow. The sound effects and vocals allowed through from the show are well placed and well thought out. I'm just truly in awe of the amount of work and care that went into creating this. Wow, that's an amazing compliment! This song had some amazing swells and beat drops that I felt really worked in enhancing the tension and emotions between Clarke and Lexa. I think too many times people ignore those moments in a song that can really make an impact - beat-wise, story-wise, emotion-wise. - and miss the opportunity to elevate their video from great to amazing. I'm a stickler for timing and dramatic effect, so thank you for noticing!

I love it! you used a lot of scenes that usually stay untouched in other Clexa videos. it is great and exciting to watch and the choice of music is a blast as always!
I really try to vary all my vids so that they don't all look the same. So for each one I try to put a couple of new scenes and force myself not to always use my "go to" ones lol. I have one particular favorite "go to" that I think I've used in every vid because it's such a charged moment between the two of them, and it's one of my favorite scenes. Can you guess which one it is? LOL.

I try to approach their relationship from different points of view and hopefully that makes each vid different. To me storytelling is the most important part of the vid, so I'm glad you noticed that! It's definitely not easy and there have been times where I've been stuck on the same 20 seconds because things were not fitting right! Anyways, thanks for watching!
I am soooo late for the game here but I legit watched your video 100 times (literally) and was often way too impressed by your editing skills to say anything or leave a comment. So this is AMAZING!!! Really! here in Germany the season finale was a long time ago but still I'm sure it left us just as speachless as the other viewers from around the world...soooothank you for your effort and this high quality.....and the timing in this is just the cherry on the cake in this little masterpiece.

Chills are exactly what I as going for! There's tons of fluffy Clexa vids on youtube, so I try to capture different aspects of their relationship rather than just the romance part. How do you continue to do this, damn.... I got chills on multiple occasions. The beginning really stood out, Titus's quotes and Lexa's response gave me chills. Also 1:24 - 1:40 were impeccable, perfectly on the beat and so well-timed and chosen. Seriously, wow. Your videos continue to impress me, so glad I found your channel!
So, I previewed this vid for some friends, I played it on my 55 inch flatscreen with the good surround sound, and when that first bassline dropped and Lexa turned to look at Titus, everyone went, "OOOOHHHH DAMMMNNNN." I think that moment was the highlight of my vidding career, lol. Lexa's "jus drein jus daun" followed by the fade ins to the downbeats and the shot of the nose boop to the sound of the chorus coming in . . . I don't think I will ever achieve that level of perfection ever again. That is probably my most favorite sequence I've edited together ever. Thanks for always watching and commenting!

I always to to make it a point to showcase a different angle of their relationship when I make a new vid. I don't want them all looking the same, but it's a real challenge to not to default to the more commonly used scenes, so I'm glad you noticed!

Because of your expert mixing and matching of moments, rhythm and images, the muddy tensions between leadership, mentorship and affection become clear. wow. I am finally attempting to create a fanvideo of my own and i will definitely take this one as reference or...lesson material? yes. how DO you do it, and such.

Watch out though, it can be very addicting and time consuming. :) One suggestion I can give you is to watch as many fan videos as you can, so that you can see all the different styles of editing there is, and pick and choose the things you'd like to emulate in your projects. I've been doing this for many years, and there is definitely a progression from my first vid to the Clexa ones you see here. Watching my old vids makes me want to crawl into a hole, lol. Trust your gut and keep it simple and you'll be churning out great ones in no time. Thanks again!
