  • I put an ad on craigslist that said I would mow any lawn for $20. This Disabled woman responded to the ad. I had no intention of charging anybody but when I showed up and seen this property and talked with the homeowner, I knew I wasn't going to charge her.

Although this disabled homeowner is not homeless and has a roof over her head, it's not much of a roof. I feel so bad that the door on the side of the house is missing and you can see her hot water heater. I'd be scared to death that someone or something would come in the house. The storage shed looks in better condition than the trailer does. Not many do anything to help the disabled, so thank you for cleaning up her yard for free.

Great transformation, another amazing job that you two handled with the goodness of your heart. I can say this one totally broke my heart. Knowing that her home is in dispare and she is unable to do repairs. I know what it is like to be disabled and do a lot for myself. Always independent, and now I have to depend upon my sons to help me out. Unbelievable that she has neighbors so close that hasn't offered to help her with her lawn, neighbors just aren't like they used to be. Praying that she gets the help she needs to get her home fixed. Her hot water heater will freeze this winter if the door is not put back up. So sad 😞. Thank you and Justin for being the Angels on Earth by helping those in need. May God Bless you both 🙏 ❤!

Hey Brian, incredible work as usual. God bless you for your kindness. Have you thought about setting up a contact for someone like this? If they can’t care for their yard like this, they probably need more support inside. All I’m saying one, call a support group in advance and setup a contact for them. Imagine the stress of looking out at an unkempt lawn knowing you are unable to do the work necessary to maintain it, nor can you afford to hire someone due to monetary constraints. Along comes a caring individual to relieve you of your stress. Not only that, the man offers to do said labor at no cost to you, which further alleviates the monetary stress of having to hire someone to do it otherwise. This is more than mowing lawns. This is lifting spirits and bringing health and happiness to people. We can all learn a valuable lesson from this man and his helper.
