      +michael malone Well, in all fairness, you really should know how to solve a regular 3x3 before moving onto this. If you do, you could probably learn everything you need to know in the first 5 minutes of this video, like me, for example.

      LOOOOOL your comment is hilarious but to be honest it's better than just improvising the four steps without any further explanation, that'd be useless uno.

    Hi Noah, props to you for sharing yr cubing passion on the net with this very detailed presentation. I find the side-by-side comparative demonstration between the two very helpful. But FWIW, this mirror cube should not be attempted by first-timers who aren't familiar with the standard 3 by 3; for even veteran big cube enthusiasts like myself, it did take me some time to figure out the very odd shape configuration maneuvering. I bet the list of algorithms you posted here would put most maiden cubers to sleep:-) ... but hey, no pain no gain! ... as some would liken it to attaining virginal orgasm when finish solving it for the first time.

    I have a suggestion Mr. Noah. As you have a lot of patience and your explaining step by step on each and every case, so why don't you explain CFOP method for this as it would be faster and easy too. Your algorithms are to long for the last layer and also confusing , so I suggest you to explain CFOP method or at least explain the last layer using oll and pll method. Other wise I Appreciate your way of teaching . Thank you!

    Parity doesn't exist on the mirror. It's exactly the same as a 3x3 which doesn't have "parity".
    Also don't follow his F2L corner algo. Look up sledgehammer insertion. He does almost 8 moves per corner regardless of position. With sledgehammer you do 8 moves in worst case and 4 in all others.

    • @adamcardoso773
      @adamcardoso773 7 років тому

      @Prateek. I can't say with certainty if you should use intuition f2l. I use beginners Friedrich. Even using that i get sub 45 times(still slow). Without knowing what method his corner insertion actually fits into, i would say sledgehammer is still faster then his algo except for in worst case.
