I spent a month in Powell Ohio, its the most boring and nothing to do town I ever visited. I was there for a development project. Haiti is more pleasurable!

I'm black and went there to visit a girl(who's white btw) in 2017 and I swear only saw 1 black person in town and we even joked about it with my friend. I whole week and no diversity, felt out of place. And there's zero life, nothing to do tbh. Sandusky seemed kinda hood but at least they have cedar point. Tbh Ohio as a whole surprised me, how are people so proud of it. Living in a boring Naples, Florida made me think, eh at least we have like a million beaches and places to go

You watched this who video then thought if way to make it a race issue. The whole video is about how much people like living in Powell. It said nothing about who can or cant. But somehow y ok you see a race issue. Stop with all that mess.

@@Swagalious689 a year ago I said that and it still holds true. I love Powell. I've been here since I was 7 so roughly 33 years. All of my friends who are people of color have said the same thing wheres the diversity There is diversity here just not as much as say Worthington or even Dublin I feel the bigger picture is if you want to invite people of different nationalities maybe you should show that in videos. It talks about how great the school system is but to people of color its not look up dear Olentangy. Or dear Worthington see what I mean.

That’s the main thing I noticed too! There’s a possibility we may move here in the future, but I would like my son to grow up with some diversity… He is Indian & White, so it would be great for him to experience some of his culture wherever we end up! The town still looks like a great place to raise a family :) we’ll see

@@shainapatil7545 we moved from Powell to Westerville and the diversity along with the people is soo different. Example is that in my old neighborhood after 5 years living there and always home I personally knew 3 people pretty well. We moved to westerbille Feb 2021 and not only do we know all the people on our street but we have had 5 neighborhood events, and children running all over. Great for my 5 year old too so I get what your saying. He's half Kenyan and half Caucasian

A very conservative republican town that is very unwelcoming to newcomers or anyone who is not a straight white person who voted for Trump and has a family. There is nothing to do for anyone who is single. It's very very boring. I'm sure the people who live there embrace this but I found it incredibly limiting. Nothing cultural, or artistic just incredibly bland. Absolutely nothing but white people, no minorities except for those doing menial labor for those white people. Just be aware of that if you want to live there. You will be ostracized if you do fall within those guidelines.
