BEDROOM RENOVATION // upgrading our master bedroom with a new bedroom suite 🤍 🧺

Welcome back, friends! Today we're doing something Luke and I have been waiting to do for almost 3 years - upgrade our bedroom suite!! AHHH!! We are absolutely in love with our king size bed, and beautiful, new furniture from Haute Home LA. I highly recommend them! Your updated bed, nightstands and dresser look fantastic. I love the linens you chose. It’s so cozy and relaxing. Just wow! I love the airiness of your lamps and curtains. It all compliments so well.
I have to say, I loved the solid wood sleigh bed. It’s so classic. But I can’t disagree with you about the king. Nothing better than that. Maybe you guys can use the sleigh bed frame for your guest room (of the future).
We have a similar bed frame from crate and barrel (it’s called the Arden), and it doesn’t need a box spring either. But we tried without it for about 6 months and we just found it so cumbersome putting the fitted sheets on and the mattress cover on each time. It sits slightly *into* the frame if that makes sense. And that little lifting and tucking got hard. If you guys end up eventually feeling similarly, we discovered there are thin, 3”-5” box springs you can get for a boost. We had ours delivered this week and already feel like it’s easier for us.
I know you eluded to your husband being camera shy but he seeems so sweet and nice! You guys worked together well as a team on all your updates. ❤

Thank you so much, this is all so thoughtful and kind!! 🤍 I'll remember that about the box springs! We have a furnished guest room, but our old set is already back at his parents set up, so it's still around 😉
