The fact that the crucifix has bunch of weaknesses, i could use the planet staff to stun the crucfix users and use the thunder staff to deal damage ignoring the shield of the crucfix.

Also the deathspeaker, vine periastron and you can use the green shield sword to reflect all the vine periastron leafs into the crucifix user It does the same damage as without the crucifix

Let's see, this is, as I recall, a long press on the screen, and after the change comes, unequip the cross, equip it again, and tap the screen once. I think only the first tap works for hitting. Other than that I don't know.

Well, to explain in a little more detail, after equipping the cross, you have to tap the screen again for about 0.2 seconds. i.e. double tap the screen :)
