From 1990 to 2022 there were 265 teams that started the season 0-2. Of those teams only 30 made it to the playoffs. Which calculated to 11%. I’m all for being positive. But I’m also honest. The OLine is not nasty enough to play the kind of ball we want to play. Seeing how none of them backed up Kolton (the best linemen and leader of that line) when he got in the face of that lineman of the chargers can’t happen. Antonio Pierce would have wanted to keep Josh Jacobs, but Telesco decided to move on from him, which was a terrible mistake. Moreover, Antonio stated that he wanted a star QB, and what does Telesco do? He signs Gardner Minshew and drafts another TE , even though we just drafted one last year. I believe Tom Telesco is a terrible GM, and we should have kept our interim GM from last year along with Antonio Pierce. Mark Davis makes terrible mistakes. What Pierce and the interm gm both did last year with picking up Jack Jones late in the season was great move, and instead of keeping that momentum going, Mark Davis decided to get rid of our interim GM and bring in a Josh McDaniels-type GM. We fix that with this offensive weapons we have ans that nasty defense. Which made Herbert look like a subpar Back up at the least. Only throwing for like 140 yards. He was locked down.
