That is absolutely absurd!!! We've filmed at that park multiple times and the distance he's hitting that ball is nothing less than spectacular!!! What a bat!!! Myself I liked the 1 piece a lot better but the 2 piece preforms like a champ as well!!! Great video brother I'm definitely going to keep it on repeat!!!
I'm guessing that I'm not the only that keeps coming back over and over to watch you guys hit with the KoDs while trying to patiently wait for the production models to ship out.
Just ordered, my team has a total of 2 bats, which have both made it through several seasons being our only batsso this will be a breath of fresh air. Thanks for the awesome video!
Anyone get their pre-order yet?? Been waiting and still haven’t even received a notification that it’s been shipped despite the June 1st expected arrival 😫
For someone who has decent pop and swings hard, would you recommend the 1 piece 1oz end load or the 2 piece 1 oz end load. I’m currently swinging a 25oz torch balanced all the rage paint and I feel as if it doesn’t complement my swing as much. Still smacks the hec out of the ball.
Have you guys tried the black 2024 model? Is there any performance difference between the white model and the black model? I know the black model is a alloy handle
Haven’t swung the alloy handle version yet, but I can’t imagine there would be any performance difference. The ones we swung had the super stiff handles as well. The only thing I have noticed with the alloy handle torch I have is that it swings just a little lighter.
Great video and review!!! So quick question….what’s the difference between this 25oz two piece bat with a 1 oz endload and the DNA Legacy with the same specs? Would this just be a repaint of the DNA Legacy?
Ohhh….I hope this new M5 Light tech corrects the Hype durability issues or the M6 durability issues. Keep up the GREAT work with these bat reviews videos!!!

That's why I love hitting with Nino! A guy that isn't 6'5" with muscles bulging everywhere that can still hit the ball a mile, it's pretty incredible to witness it in person.
Seen you swung the 1 piece and this 2 piece. I'm going to guess no but were you able to swing the balanced version of this bat? I'm curious if the balanced still swings heavy like most Monstas do. Have you ever swung a balanced (not mid-load) Monsta before? If so, how different is it compared to a mid-load/endload?
I wasn’t able to swing the balanced, the only balanced Monsta I have swung was the Psyborg but I didn’t think it swung very balanced. I’m honestly not sure how they would make the bat balanced since the FIB is attached to the end cap, I guess they just have to put more weight in the hands? Sorry I can’t be more help.

I got mine this week. Less than an hour before my first playoff game. Hit a HR in my 2nd AB. Missed a grand slam by about 3ft. my second game. Hit a line drive 6ft. up on a 9ft. fence. This bat is ridiculously hot out of the wrapper. Didn’t have time to put any swings on it before game time. I can’t imagine what this bat can do once I get some swings on it. I ordered the 2-piece 24.5oz with .5oz Endlod.
We only ever hit a mix of 52/300 balls with Asa bats. I have a mix of Evil BP52’s, Short Porch BP Ghost balls, NX3 Spinners, Dudley SY’s and Baden Fire balls.
Love Monsta bats but getting a bag together for the season with 3 of the same bats is ridiculous and even if you can do it you can’t find the bat you love to swing 5 months later
I mean both bats have been designed by Monsta to be as hot as they can legally make them. I'm not sure one is gonna be hotter than the other but if you like endload in your bat, this one definitely has more than a sinister! It's more about swing weight preference at this point.
That pocket radar is honestly messed up. You hit a routine-bouncing ground ball and it registers almost 100MPH, and then you hit a screaming line drive and it only registers mid-90's.
And that is exactly why I'm not the biggest fan of exit velos. To get higher readings it's not my natural swing, hitting the ball square and driving it down gets higher readings, but when I cut the ball and hit the line drives with backspin, they go a mile but are slower.
It's all about energy transfer. If you hit a punching bag with half of your fist, it's going to do less damage than if you hit the punching bag with your entire fist. It's the same concept when it comes to Exit velocity. If you swing down on the ball, the only way for you to square it up is to punch it into the ground. If you swing up on the ball, you can get the high readings in the air. However, a lot of softballers swing down on the ball. As long as the ball travels 20+ feet from contact, it will register an accurate reading. Punching it into the ground isn't a bad thing when you're trying to compare bat performance. However - the biggest factor in exit velocity is the ball. To get the most out of radar readings, you have to use the same ball, in the same condition, in the same place. Many reviewers opt out of doing this because they want to show performance for all types of balls so that the viewer can assess depending on what they hit. Also - for those that don't know, a lot of softballers cut the ball (hitting bottom half) so that they can trade exit velo for backspin. This can be both beneficial and hurtful but it depends on the situation. The easiest way many softballers cut the ball is by swinging down on it and hitting the bottom half of the ball. However, you can cut the ball with a lift swing too. #SharingKnowledge
