    This is Part 1 of a 2-Part interview with Perry Yung, a Chinese-American actor and shakuhachi flute luthier from Oakland, California. Perry has been based out of New York City for a few decades, where he raised his two boys with his dance professor wife. He recently played the main role of Father Jun in Bruce Lee’s “Warrior” series for Cinemax, which moved to HBOMax at the beginning of 2021.
