01:23 Yes, the health regen passive is super op in the lane. Taking unfavorable trades is good most of the time.
02:24 There is two good opportunities to use W here. another is right away after the E stun, most of the time that is the best time to use it because you guarantee to hit the true damage. another is when the Yasuo uses the tornado, there is a little time window where he is casting it that allows you to hit the true damage also the shield negates the tornado damage, however if Yasuo can e into you or R he can dodge the damage. Most new Sett players either use the W too early without grit or too late where they don't hit it at all. It's huge damage and long cooldown so it should be always hit.
03:12 That is a good try, W + flash is very important mechanic to master with sett to acquire lane dominance. The flash should be time at the last tick (what you basically did here) of the W because many times the opponent panics with the flash and you can flash after them. That Yasuo was smart and knew you were going to flash and that is very hard to predict.
03:42 Here I think the best time to use the W is right when the Yasuo is casting the tornado because you don't have e and if he dodges the damage by using e into you, he will still lose.
03:50 This fight is very winnable, I think you should wait for the e cooldown before trying to kill, but it was close anyway.
04:04 This is partly preference but I think 90% of the time the best first buy against Yasuo lane is plated steelcaps. The base damages on Sett are very high anyways and the movement speed is very important on stat on Sett, especially against Yasuo because he will many times rush berserker greaves and will be hard to catch. Also the Yasuo with bersekers does 0 damage to Sett with steelcaps.
04:55 This W is bad because we know that Yasuo can e us. Sett is super strong 1v2 champ and just being smart with your ability usage is very important in those situations. Good sett player will win this 1v2 most of the time.
08:57 This is good W usage, right after e stun. Morgana messed up by spell shielding Yasuo too early when he Sett had no grit.
Few notes:
- I like to take ignite on sett in melee matchups, it makes the lane almost unlosable.
- I think you should buy the tier two boots a lot earlier on Sett.
- Nice and enjoyable video!
I recommend to try to play Sett mid also against ranged mages. With Fleet footwork + Doran's shield + Second wind + Sett passive it's just unfair how much sustain you have and most of the ranged mages can never kill you but you can oneshot them easily.

I think generally his full build is determined by the game state, as your own should be too. Typically you don't just want to follow a build "item for item" anymore, the items are far more niche and you build for what your team needs to win. For example, in this game he wanted (and planned) to build the Bloodmail second item, but he needed more dueling power to fight the fed Kled, so he went into Sundered Sky instead.

Kayn is a decent counterpick for yas. You can poke his shield off with w, q max and just take aggressive trades long enough to q twice then disengage. If he goes for e-q3 you q and both portions hit.
