Good old Barlow/Barient/Francis winches. :) I've just replaced two of mine with Danish-made Andersen self-tailers who are owned, interestingly, by Ronstan - another Australian company. Good gear.
I followed you in the past adventures, but I think this would be more interesting! Waiting to see that sail in the sea, hoping to welcome your boat in the Med!
Woah those things were CRUSTY
Thats for sure! But now they are running smoother than ever :))
That was lucky finding an almost new sail for you sailboat, considering there are not a lot of them build if I remember correctly.
Very Lucky indeed! The sail is from a different boat modell. But the right size :)
Insexnyckel = Allen key eller hex key
Bra video, har köpt en Vega 27 förra veckan, och försöker snappa upp info om allt!
Tack! Allen key låter bra mycke bättre än Insexnyckel :)
Kul med en Vega! Riktigt stabil båt
Har du kollat little boat adventures? Han har en Vega.
@@ulfhenriksson9628 nej den har jag missat. Får ta mig en titt :)

Thats amazing Kommos! Glad to have you onboard :)
And see you in the Med some Day!
Servade mina vinschar. Hittade allt möjligt i dom som hundhår och färgflagor av en färg som inte finns på båten.
Haha, då kom ja nog billigt undan :)
In Britain we call those (inseyx?) keys either Allen keys or hex keys
Thanks Ewan! You got bloody hard words sometime :)
@@SailingMalou yeah English is a weird language 🤣 wish I could speak more than just English
@@ewantheboat you should learn Swedish of you want even weirder 😅
:)
Good video! I thought it was more complicated to service a winch. Can I know how much you paid for the second hand sail?
Thanks Sailing Livity!
The sail was about 400 USD. So a bargain for sure 🥳
@@SailingMalou great deal indeed!
