Because of how dangerous springlock suits are, you have to be very careful when equipping this and putting it on you, because one mistake and you may never see the light of day again.

In the books it’s described on how all the metal parts will INSTANTLY snap back into place, ripping through all of your flesh and instantly breaking most of your bones. Your vocal cords will also instantly be pierced so you won’t be able to call for help, either. Eventually you’ll drown in your own blood. There is no physical way to survive unless only one springlock goes off and you’re in public.
I really really suggest you look to some fursuit building guides for the suit itself!! Or any suits you might make in the future. There are some lovely guides right here on UA-cam that can give you invaluable tips. I specifically recommend Neffertity and Skyehigh Studios. I don't remember if either of them specifically talk about 3D printed headbases, so just to be sure, here's the most important tip I know: *If you want to wear that head for any length of time, especially with a suit too, **_riddle that thing with holes for airflow!_* Literally make it look like a spiderweb. Otherwise heatstroke will strike even harder and faster than those springlocks! Best of luck

nice! im only a kid (11) but ive been trying to make springlock suits too, but slightly different. they are called snaplock suits, ( or snapsuits) that double as robot and suit, using the mechanism of a bear trap but smaller. and the beartrap device ( or snaplock) is attached to the costume itself, and hooks into specially drilled bits in the endpo to hold it on. let me nkow what you think of the idea. thoughts? advice? critisism? also. sorry for bad spelling
@@LowerBudgetOppenheimer you dont get it? ok, well, its sort of reversed. instead of springlocks being on the endoskelton the mini beartrap (or snaplock) is glued onto the inside of the costume instead of the endo, so when you wind it back and trigger it, it snaps into specially placed holes on the endo. the endo looks like fnaf 2 endo, but slightly thinner with holes in the legs arms chest and of course the head. i dont really know how to explain it apart from that.

And you should make it family friendly and host birthday parties here too. Then you could continue by expanding upon this concept for example by opening up sister locations and by starting to mass produce these animatronics - maybe one day even by going as far as to open up gigantic buildings full of different attractions and a big stage where these animatronics perform all around the world... I dunno where my idea came from though...

@@technofurs Yes absolutely and it's not at all what I imagined, I feel like the graphic novel artist missed a mark in order to make it more obvious for children that what they're doing is dangerous. I always imagined you'd wind or otherwise pull the lock and that the endoskeleton would move to the outer walls of the shell, but the way I imagined it it didn't make much sense either. Which is why I absolutely loved your past few videos, even showed them to my gf who also likes this particular part of fnaf.

Edit three spring lock suit I am building I do not know how to make a wearable ball joints so I'm customizing it to have a hinge light designed to each joint in those two stick hinges will be attached to a circular piece that's going to be in between a joint that allows it to rotate while moving up and down in between the joints where I might put a random endoskeleton in Ruby's to spear like things in between that joint which are going to be the spring locks I'm still stuck on the legs by the way because I do not know how to make a spine for the wearer to move in
@@technofursthe books and the game states it is that you should be able to wear the suit pretty fluently if it's in good condition meaning you should make it where the spring locks AR hard set it off but can be set off if you would throw it against a brick wall.
Man watching this made me appreciate that someone took this concept from the series and redesigned it to make it safer. Their safe design was to make the springlocks to be on the endo skeleton, and the springlocks are of the tension type.
