Mango was a baby from the aviary and he could not fly properly so we looked after him, and he is so lovely and friendly!
Chutney is one our golden face babies from the bird room :)

I have a single budgie: Jackie-Jack. To keep her from getting bored, one of the things that I do is play the Mango and Chutney videos every day for about an hour or two. Jackie loves it! Thanks so much for this video; it really helps my bird and it makes her feel really happy. :)
There is something about this particular video that makes my bird so chirpy...and I see others commenting the same thing. Clearly what they are communicating is happy for so many other birds to like it so much! Mango is a cutie pie!

I got two budgies a few days ago and they were so shy and quiet, i play this thought the day and they literally come to life !! Their feather fluff up, they sing and chirp and climb all around in their cage. Thank you so much for this !!!

@@middleofsomew7567 keep telling yourself that... every animal is a vermin. Why don't u open your windows and let it outside and see if it flies back to your house and makes a escape and leave you? I've seen dogs do that to their owner aswell... they latch on to you for food but any chance they get they will try to escape

One of my budgies found an undiscovered hole under our cabinets. After being lost in there for more than an hour, we tried to coax her out by playing budgie sounds for her. As soon as she heard this video she came all the way out and we were able to rescue her. We were so scared we were going to lose her. Thank you so much for this video! You helped save her!!!

That is so true. Keets get into something and are scared to get. My parakeet fell behind the refrigherator and I whistled and called his name and that little guy came out from behind the fridge. I was soooo happy. No cell phones at that time.

We just bought two budgies from Petco, and they were really depressed from stress, and possibly from seeing and smelling our cats and dog, not eating or anything...just sitting still in the cage with their eyes half closed. I played this, and it turned on the 'on switch' or something. They started singing, squawking, eating, jumping all around the cage, and preening themselves. This quite possibly saved my budgies' lives. I am hoping that if I play this every day, they'll continue to get improve and de-stress.

Play some music. They love it I have six budgies and every single one of them loves Uptown funk LOL your parakeets will come around give him a couple of weeks to get used to everything.
My budgies have been doing this as well, and one of them has been sitting at the bottom of the cage and Occasionally moving around the bottom of the cage, this comment was from 11 months ago, so maybe do you know what’s wrong with my budgie? She’s new so maybe she’s just scared :/

Mine kills other birds she has killed three i recently got her another bird she tried to kill him i gave nore food washed the cage more actives and a bigger cage but we have them separated they can still see eachother but cant be together unless out of thr cage vitas is a very temperamental white bird

My two budgies were always quite and one of them slept when left isolated. But thanks to this video, it made their spirit delightful and playful. They now sing and eat and play with each other😊......but they keep making noise a lot...LoL😂

Thanks! I got two male budgies, one female. The females never sing. She "Rants," when my hand gets too close. Never sing or chirp. This video makes'em all chirp from beginning to end.

My little white female budgie died and Bluey would not eat, preen, sing or move. I thought he was ill. I put your vid on yesterday. Within an hour he was preening, eating and chirping like mad. Thank you so much. I now have lost my tablet to Bluey as I call back every hour and renew it for him. X

We let them our of their cage so they can fly about the bird room on a regular basis :)
*That's awesome BUT when they are in the cage, you should consider adding some TOYS and foraging items to keep them engagaed. They're just climbing around the swing, going from perch to perch and just sitting.*
@@Nicole215 ^this, I let my birds out for hours every day and still have a huge cage with a lot of toys and branches. This is important, birds are hard to take care of well but 's the price we pay
@@mialia15104Who will provide the toys in the wild? As long as they can fly and twitter, they are happy. Buy them a salt bush like they have in the outback, budgies love them.
When I started this video in front of my birds they started moving from one place to another it was very awesome 👍😊 and they were very excited 😊😀

A BIG THANK YOU for this video! I bought yesterday a budgie to help my widowed one enjoy life. After starting to play this video, the effect was amazing! They started talking together, chirping and moving around the cage. The new baby was very shy and scared till he heard the audio. If I could just understand what they are saying 😊, it seem the recording did good to many budgies! Great job!!!

They are actually trying to call the other budgies, and they aren't coming, which frustrates them and will cause change in behavior. Put it near the budgie and it will be safe

We bought two budgies for a nun s 89 th birthday. She lives in a convent.Every day they wheel her outside for fresh air and music courtesy the budgies.I work with the nuns.I am told the nun comes to life whenever she is around the budgies.Whenever i go i play this video.Their feathers around their head get puffy,they listen intently and then the male seemingly picks the female....interesting.Minus these birds the convent is whisper quiet !
Even i have 3 pairs when i brought them they kept silent for two days and then i putted on this video and they were really happy

You need to have two budgies and I mean you NEED 2 budgies at least they can literally die of loneliness. You shouldnt have a budgie if u only have one
Mandy, the other commenter is correct, though I wouldn't have put it quite so sternly, budgies DO need a companion, 2 birds IS the very minimum anyone should have....perhaps look up online nearby animal rescue charities they often have budgies that need rehoming for free, or see if there's a neighborhood platform, maybe someone in your area has a budgie they would prefer to give to a good home, reach out on Facebook too. I've only ever kept birds as pairs, but now we have a noisy family of 8. Also, I cannot recommend enough talking to your budgie, they DO listen, my closest Dino, sits on a perch right in front of my face and chatters away back to me, I think it would really help yours feel less lonely. On another point, I will say to you, you will find online, especially budgie forums that some owners and breeders can be quite rude when responding to your questions/comments. They ARE very knowledgeable no arguments there, but they also like to show HOW knowledgeable by pointing out firmly EVERYTHING you're doing wrong 😉 My partner and I allowed our mating couple a go at breeding, and boy did we get some know-it-alls telling us why it was wrong to breed if you're not experienced. Our budgie parents hatched 4 chicks 10 months ago and they're all strong healthy and happy, getting into mischief as they should. They have 2 big cages to share but only use to sleep at night, eat and nap, otherwise they're freeflying in their own room (our spare bedroom)from early morning until they put themselves to bed at night. I am definitely NO expert at all , but I've learned along the way..if you ever want advice , I might be able to give it non-judgementally. I know what it's like to just make a comment or ask a question regarding my own birds only to get a load of tutting and finger wagging coating the responses!

@@user-dn1nq7if8b I'm sorry for your loss and I completely agree with you, budgies NEED a companion, the only time I ever had a single budgie was as a teenager, and I didn't have a say in having a friend for him. Luckily for him my mum was home all day and he practically lived on her shoulder and she was constantly talking to him, I never knew budgies were able to live past 10 years but he was 15 when he died. THAT was an extremely rare case of a single budgie success story. We've had partners of budgies die too and always gone out within a couple of days to get a companion.
My birds were chirping like crazy. It made me get a headache XD. Plus they flew alot around my head. At least I got some cold air ;-)
