- What does it take to stage a broadway musical in Singapore? For Disney's Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical, it's 100 people, months of preparation and a dress with 14,000 real Swarovski Crystals.
In this episode of Hidden Hustles, Wendy goes behind the curtain, to meet the crew who ensures that the musical runs smoothly eight times a week. Will she be able to handle the pressure till showtime?

this is insane mad props to everyone who worked on this video
thank you team ogs for featuring the local backstage team!! a lot of times with these sort of big international productions for music and theatre, the local ground crew often gets overlooked & underappreciated, but their work is of equal utmost importance as that of the production’s original team. kudos to sophia and hidayah for all your hard work, and happy trails to the cast and crew of frozen sg! 🤍💙
Watched Sarah play Anna in London before, so happy she finally got the role in Singapore!! She’s such an AMAZING Anna!
absolutely mindblown by their hard work. phenomenal!
Such an awesome show! Managed to catch the performance on the 7th of march with some friends. Amazing cast, set, props and special effects, the only thing I wished they had were stage doors to get a chance to meet the cast, but other than that the experience was practically flawless. Highly recommend to anyone with a love for musicals or Disney!! ❤❄
While not publicly advertised, MBS actually has a stage door where you can meet the cast :) We met them over the course of their run, and it was quite full with people on closing night!
Great to see these amazing and hard working dressers are been featured. I'm pleased to have work with them on The Lion King Musical back in 2018.
Different kind of magic for sure! Backstage is a show in itself and the secrets we hide from an audience is half the fun! My friend was the Elsa dresser in Sydney so I have heard how hard they work and I am so happy more behind the scenes roles are being spotlighted!
I literally just caught the musical last night, and I enjoyed every single second of it!! Theatre magic is even better when you see it for yourself!
Wtf damn good, i had the feels from the tension of preset to the opening of the musical. Makes me wanna watch the show now before it ends
Thank you for doing this! Loved seeing this side of theater being featured :)
You have no idea how much I sobbed
So cool y'all got access to backstage!! Good job OGS!!🥰❤
I managed to watch the show and it was really good!! kudos to them
😍 love this! so fascinating to see how it all comes together
Love this❤
this is amazing!!!!!!
Great video!
What's your favourite moment from Frozen? ❄
The dress stripped off on stage.
Tons of great moments that made the crowd cheer and gasp collectively. For me, its a three way tie between the introduction of Sven (along with Kristoff), Elsa's quick change near the end of Act 1, and the moment when Anna turns into ice. The costumes and choreography are certainly a treat to watch as well. Thomas Mccguane is ever so charming with his portrayal of Hans, and credit must be given for the young Elsas and Annas making their Broadway debut :)
At the start of act two, when hygge is playing. And a bunch of swings come from the sauna doing the conga 😂 The structure looks like it can only fit five people at most but literally 14 came out doing the conga. DEFINITELY my favorite scene. Their costumes were so colourful 😊
Elsa singing let it go song
i’m catching it this saturday!!!
wow this makes me want to get tickets rn :O
🙏 Respect & Salute & Thank You So Much for All who've made this Disney's FROZEN Musical possible in Singapore! 🌷🌿🌍💜🕊
I LOVE THIS!! I watched it yesterday and to show my love for frozen, I brought my Shellie May teddy dressed in an Elsa dress to the theatre HAHA (mind u I’m 14 but who cares 💀)
I saw frozen 6 times
