Spanish food is reasonably popular, but you have to realize that there are many cuisines with an even (much) greater variety: Chinese, Italian, French, Indian, Indonesian, to mention a few. Nevertheless, I often make one of these recipes!
I would never in a million years thought of combining those ingredients together. I have got to try that, thanks for this recipe, I'm putting my shoes on to go buy some almonds, everything else in the recipe are always in my kitchen. Love your work💯
@Someone-ch8vo I'm struggling to understand your copy and pasted point. If you would care to elaborate on what you mean I'd be more than happy to have a debate with you.
I love that this spanish eggs recipe uses simple, accessible ingredients. It's perfect for those days when you want a delicious meal without spending hours in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing easy and tasty recipes. 👍🙏
I was shocked when I saw the eggs being coated in flour and fried, simply because I never imagined that to be done. It looks very tasty! Very unique recipe. Love it!
@@SpainonaForkAlbert is there a recipe for albondigas with almonds and boiled eggs that are sweet and come from South of Spain I'm curious maybe cooked in saffron sauce I'm interested to know
I first saw this video around 6 months ago and I've been trying to convince my household to give it a try ever since. Well, they finally gave in and everyone was blown away by the deliciousness and rich texture of this sauce and the novelty of making eggs our main dinner protein. What a brilliant recipe! The leftovers were demolished for lunch the next day. I can't wait to try more of these Spanish recipes!
I really like this - will definitely make this one since i have lots of almonds in my storecupboard. Also rich in protein for a vegetarian like me - thank you so much !!!😀
A lovely idea to easily up the flavours for simple eggs. It looks like it could work at room temperature also amongst tapas. I would never have put the two together but might give it a try. Thank you Albert! Love from Scotland 🏴
Albert: Delicious. I have everything in stock but almonds, so guess what's on the list for today.😋 A definite WILL-try. Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~

Looks delicious , Albert ! I'll be cooking this tonight - if I can find my blanched almonds . After Christmas day , things have been moved God knows where ! Granada . Reminds me of this story I read in an old National Geographic . I think the name of the last ruler of Granada might have been Bobadil . Hope I got that right ! Anyway , after being driven out by Ferdinand , and on his retreat from Granada , he stopped , turned , and had one last look , from a place now called 'The sigh of the Moor'. He shed a tear and looked at his mum for a bit of sympathy , but , she was in no mood . "Do not weep like a woman for what you didn't defend like a man'. Ouch ! Heart as hard as an almond , that woman . Thanks for the video!
I'm curious, how many egg half's would you suggest as a single serving portion? That said this looks great. I'm thinking the sauce could be made the day before. Boil the eggs while giving the sauce its final heat that way its easier to do early in the mourning. Or for a lot of folks for brunch or holiday mornings. 😊
I so want to eat this. BUT...if I don't find this on a Tapas Menu, no way. It's a breakfast dish, and way too much trouble to make at home. Perfect for a 10:00 pm dinner at a restaurant. OK, I could be lying. Just might do this in the morning. Otherwise, it's pan con tomate, and a cortado.
@@SpainonaFork Thanks Albert, I'm feeling better than better.....they've got me on a low fiber diet, so I'm eating all the things I was denying myself on the low carb diet I was on before. Rice, bread , potatoes and best of all Pasta!
I've just tried the recipe adding those 0.17 grams of saffron on my uncles goat meat wage. By the time it registered I had added like a bag full and have now invested 5000$ into this this dish! Please be more precise
How is Spanish food not more popular? The variety is amazing.
Agreed! Much love :)
@Someone-ch8vo Are you kidding? Tapas as a sports snack would be amazing 😂

Such an amazing recipe! It reminds me a little of the North Indian/Mogul dish of korma sauce, which is probably the Moorish influence here. Thank you

1 egg per person as an appertizer, or 2 eggs per person as a main course :) Much love

Maybe pasta?

What does it go well with? Rice,Rotis?
He suggested crusty bread or roasted potatoes during the recipe description
Would this be a starter or would you serve it with a table of tapas?
You can go either way! Much love :)
I would eat them in the evening with some fresh crusty bread👍🍷
How about a Spanish vegan recipe??🎉❤
I have to ask about your pans they look really nice!!!! Where did you get them????

Does it have to be boiled eggs
What is the liquid you add in mixer and later in pan? Is it normal water?
Vegetable broth :) Much love
I'm confused what kind of almonds can I use? I have whole natural almonds is that ok?
I used natural blanched almonds, but you can use the ones with the skins on if you like :) Much love
