@@prith7900 Carson’s was a bit different. It was a 19 yr old and a 17 yr old. Sure, by law, it’s barely illegal, but if you really look at it, a 2 year difference is barely anything. So when Carson was a senior, the victim was a sophomore.
But the real kicker about Carson was his abuse of his fame. For me, that’s the part that I don’t like. But the age difference? It’s laughable.

He did not apologize for his questionable sexual behaviour towards ANIMALS not just his cats and towards children and for kissing 12 year old fans when he was 20 or when he asked a minor to twerk on omegle. so don't say he's never done anything because he has. his apology video (the newest one) was absolutely atrocious and disappointing, he did not take accountability he was making excuse after excuse. taking accountability means that you can admit you're wrong and what you did was fucked up with the ability of not making excuses. to make things worse the only reason he decided to make that video was because jenna marbles made a video exposing herself and apologizing for her old offensive content (she actually took accountability and did not make any excuses) and she got positive feedback and everyone praised her and supported her and shane assumed he would get the same treatment. he doesn't give a shit.

Shane was a great guest. Would be a great recurring guest if possible. He did seem a bit nervous but at the same time was very genuine and wasn't distant or disconnected or trying to be a personality and was just himself. Honestly would put him high up as one of my favorite guests so far tbh.

I don’t really understand why people are saying this is a “depressing” episode. I think it’s an uplifting episode. Probably the realest podcast I’ve seen from H3. Shane is a human being, he’s gone through many tough situations and he’s tying to oppose the evils of the industry he’s in by speaking up about these issues to a large audience. He’s also honest about his emotions and his life. Hats off to him and Ethan and Hila!
I agree. We're sort of trapped in this system where the truth is always shelved to deflect us from what is really going on in the world. I have watched a few of Shane's videos and he's a genuine, hardworking guy!

God, I feel like I've been with Shane thru everything, from his shananay skits to his eating videos and now his conspiracy videos. From watching his videos with his brother and mom, his friend Shanna, his ex Lisa, Trisha paytas and now Drew and Garret. I'm so happy he's with ryland now and has two dogs and a cat. Shane has always been relevant to a variety of demographics. For now, there's a platform for him to speak on a variety of important issues. That's why I love Shane. He's a genuine person who speaks his mind in a relatable way to so many people.
Seriously! This is a good comment because look at how many people he came up with in the early UA-cam days who were BIG names, but I don't really hear too much about them any more. Shane however still has me checking his channel for new vids and shit
I love how he's adapted. He's slowly starting to come back into stuff I enjoy, and that is universally enjoyed.

I still actively follow Shane since he became super popular on youtube years ago, I'm so proud of how he's grown and how open he is about his problems and his past. Even in his "edgier" days, his videos have always helped so many people, especially when he talked about his weight loss, eating disorders, and difficult upbringing. Even now as an adult, I can go back and laugh my ass off at his older videos while appreciating his newer content. He's one youtuber I've been so loyal to over the years, alongside Rhett and Link and H3

i must admit I often wonder why I seem to be the only person with black eyes. 30 hours without sleep is bad but after the 60 hour mark you literally hallucinate far too much, usually within the peripheral vision range... on the bus I swear there was a giant black spider towering above me on my left and when I looked it was just a little old lady.
She looked as scared of me as I was of her!
it was literally 3 am when I got to that part and I felt personally attacked but also okay with it
Some of these old episodes I’d love to see them revisit and react to with what we know now, this is definitely one of those.

Shane is probably the only UA-camr I can listen to speak on different topics for 2 hours AND thoroughly enjoy his own content as well! So genuine and humble.
It’s so odd watching this now. Yes, the most obvious reasons being Shane and his current “cancellation” and how badly he has treated Trisha. However, for me the weirdest thing about this podcast is how this is the moment that Ethan found out what a “mukbang” is and at this point had NO idea who Trisha Paytas was, but now she is his bestie and future sister-in-law and we LOVE to see it.

It's all the insecurities he had when he was a chubby lil teen that have stuck with him. I guarantee you that back then no one paid him a single compliment. Being fat really messes with your self esteem and add on top the fact that no one ever compliments you (especially if you're a guy), it makes you just feel like shit and it sticks with you.

Imo Shane is producing the best content on UA-cam right now.
