For those who don't know, Coven line of skins is heavily inspired by the Wiccans. When Evelynn casts her Q spell, she uses some words that are references to witch craft in our world. Here are a little description :
- An athame or athamé is a ceremonial blade, generally with a black handle. It is the main ritual implement or magical tool among several used in ceremonial magic traditions, and by other neopagans, witchcraft, as well as satanic traditions.
- Eostara (pronounced O-STAR-ah) is one of the Lesser Wiccan Sabbats, and is usually celebrated on the Vernal or Spring Equinox right around March 21. Other names by which this Sabbat may be known are Eostara, Eostre's Day, Rite of Eostre, Festival of the Trees and Lady Day.
- Hecate or Hekate is a goddess in ancient Greek religion and mythology, most often shown holding a pair of torches, a key, snakes or accompanied by dogs and in later periods depicted in triple form. She is variously associated with crossroads, entrance-ways, night, light, magic, witchcraft, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, ghosts, necromancy, and sorcery. (The Coven skins for Warwick, Arhi and Cassiopeia are inspired by this. And i can tell we'll maybe have Coven Katarina, Coven Brand and Coven Bard as well next year.)
- Malefic IS NOT a disney reference, for the Wiccan, it's a symbol represented by an open eye, protected by a snake with 4 wings with a pentagram above them. It's the symbol for the Devil, the Father, the Necromancy and the Magic in general.
- Samhain is a pagan religious festival originating from an ancient Celtic spiritual tradition. In modern times, Samhain (a Gaelic word pronounced “SAH-win”) is usually celebrated from October 31 to November 1 to welcome in the harvest and usher in “the dark half of the year.” Celebrants believe that the barriers between the physical world and the spirit world break down during Samhain, allowing more interaction between humans and denizens of the Otherworld.
- And finally the Strix (plural striges or strixes), in the mythology of classical antiquity, was a bird of ill omen, the product of metamorphosis, that fed on human flesh and blood. It also referred to witches and related malevolent folkloric beings. Which is why the mark of the bird is everywhere in the Coven line skin !

If you choose Solar Eclipse, then canonically, Diana will be the Moon Eclipse and if you go Moon Eclipse Leona, then it'll be Solar Eclipse Diana ! ^^
Kayle could potentially get another skin in this universe since Leblanc and Morgana have two (Coven and Elderwood). Kayle already has Viridian Kayle which is part of that universe as well as Blackthorn and Coven Morgana.
