The OTV Rust server bit was my favorite part of this...that first server is one of the most memorable things I've ever witnessed as a viewer, I got to know my favorite streamer ever thought that server, the content was absolute gold all the damn time. It was perfect. That segment brought back so much nostalgia 😌
Forreal. I had like 15 streams open in TwitchTheater, being so stimulated by seeing streamers interact from completely different worlds. Team Rocket was hilarious, Aria & Janet made the cutest houses, bo was an electricianologist... separate, intertwining storylines all on 1 server

@@delsilver You see some didn't quit and they replaced og players who quit because of it and I've definitely noticed facepunch has been changing the updates to cater to new players and make the game less hard, but the issue is that is ruining the game for others. (kinda like fortnite) That doesnt mean that new players can't enjoy the game but it does ruin it for the players before them

240hz refresh rate is how many times your frames per second, gets refreshed. so if you have a 144 hz monitor, and you are getting 160 frames on whatever game, then your 160 frames are refreshing at a clock speed of 240hz per frame (160 x 240). Higher refresh rate makes the visuals stable and current with real time while 60hz almost feels like a you are watching a video. Best way I can describe 60 hz, is like playing GTA V online on ps4/xbox one and lower.

I always understand needing a break but I feel like some streamers/content creators fail to realize that they are a brand. They make the majority of their money from making videos, streaming, and social media. The breaks aren’t a problem. In my opinion, it be the lack of communication from some of these streamers. So imagine, some ten year old kid begging their parents to subscribe to this streamer or gift subs so that the streamer say their name etc and they do that but the streamer then just go ghost for a month without so much as a goodbye. Obviously they should be allowed to but you are asking people to support you so you must also understand that you’re a brand. Just like you expect epic to communicate with you bc they are a company and you’re invested in their community, your fans expect the same from you. I’m not saying Ron does that, i don’t watch him much to know but I see streamers do this quite often and I feel like it leads, in part, to their declining popularity

What makes me sad about fortnite dying and happy to see it die out was the fact that Fortnite Literally changed the face of gaming and made it a global phenomenon. Like without fortnite none of this would be here like twitch UA-cam gaming 100 thieves etc…. All that you see in the gaming world today wouldn’t be where it is now without fortnite and Platforms like twitch and youtube etc….. this has made the gaming industry’s and every gamers (including myself) dream come true by getting more and more people into it and no longer getting picked on in school or in public for playing video games or being a nerd. But it also the negative effect when bringing in new players and streamers into the community like now every player out there including 10 years are cranking 90’s sweating their a*see of thinking that it’s a tournament with 10 million dollars on the line not to mention it has effected other platforms like twitch as well like the hot tub streams for instant twitch was meant for one thing and one thing only to bring in all players of every age and race etc… and provide a safe haven for people that are looking for a little escape from the horrors of the outside world (like people getting bullied in school, bad day at work, etc….) and talk to others like them without judgement while the streamers interacted with chat and play what ever game they were playing. Now twitch has turned into nothing more that a (and I cannot believe the words that are coming out of my mouth) Virtual Strip Club for all ages, races etc….. including 10 year old boys and girls who are going to mommy and daddy asking questions that they shouldn’t be asking yet. Like mommy why is this girl sticking a banana in her mouth for a twitch prime or why is this girl writing the names of chat members who donate money to her on her body. Do I really need to continue there’s lots more to say. But what I’m getting at here is the reason why I’m sad about fortnite dying and sort of happy to finally see it die was because it both made and destroyed gaming for everyone.
It's only dead to the players who gave up on the game because it changed. It's not dead for others chill

@@lilfrontgarden well when fortnite first came out twitch was just a safe family friendly game streaming platform for all ages races etc… to just come hang out with the homies and have a super chill day playing the games they all love but when the platform started to really take off (when fortnite came out) it started to really draw in the wrong crowds but twitch could have easily avoided this if they weren’t so sexist towards men, and super lenient towards woman, when it came to twitch bans etc... If you don’t know what I’m talking about then here’s a short recap of what happened. As the platform grew so did the different variety of streamers men woman ragers hackers, ASMR etc….. and one of those was female streamers that were abusing the new feature they added back then when the platform became mainstream (which was just chatting) which is where the streamers didn’t have to game and just chat or do whatever with chat and the females started to take off their clothing and started milking that shit for money and Subs, if you get what I’m saying. Well when other OG streamers/chat members, parents, and their small children etc. that have been here since the beginning including myself. We wanted to put a stop to this before it got out of hand, mainly for the children’s sake since there were 10 year olds watching this unfold and it also stated in the twitch rule book which basically said streamers had to be wearing clothes that weren’t to revealing provocative etc….. since there were little kids and their parents watching and when I mean kids their like 8+ and twitch wanted to keep it PG now for men and women wearing a pair of pants shirt that wasn’t to revealing like a bra or booty shorts was fine and acceptable in the twitch rule book. So when the female streamers started to take off their clothing to show more “private” areas people started reporting them for indecency. Well twitch heard about this they did nothing but give them a slap on the wrist with a 1-2 day ban and nothing more but when a male streamer who (let me remind you has been here since the beginning) accidentally take off their shirt while on face cam got harsher punishments including permanent bans and exiled from the platform permanently etc… After that the female streamers started to get bolder by wearing and doing more provocative things which I won’t go into much detail about. Some of which are what twitch claims goes against every twitch stands for. Including (p*rn streams) for example: the reason ninja moves to mixer was because ninja was taking a week off and during that time something came up that caused a lot of us OG gamers and parents of small children mainly ninja to really get our blood pressures boiling. Well what was shown of the very top of ninjas recommended streams to watch was (and I cannon make this shit up if I could) a literal P*RN STREAM yes you heard me correctly, that had thousands of viewers, and this went on for hours before twitch banned it, and nothing else about it was said on their end. So this was the last straw for many streamers and chat members (including myself) to pack up and find something else like UA-cam gaming and mixer etc…. Well twitch let this kind of behavior continue to what we refer to today as a “Hot Tub Stream”
@@lilfrontgarden but In short fortnite dying wasn’t the catalyst that started the hot tub streams but it was a major factor in the creation of hot tub streams and inappropriate content that people of all ages races etc. could watch including little children, since the only popular game was fortnite and people got bored so the rest is history.
