I've been struggling so hard to attatch a mixamo animation to my vroid model after converting it to a mixamo ik rig. I had to dup my original armature (after using an addon to rename the bones to mixamo bones) then I had to build a bone list off the copy, THEN target the copy animation to my main rig. I am so excited to try this out. Really hoping the bones for the hair and clothes work though! *prays*
Does anyone know if the hair bones and clothing bones can still be used with this? I'm going to attempt to separate them into a different layer and use both rigs :'D

I don't use the mixamo rig I use autorig pro, but for hair and clothes, I use swingy bones, an addon in the blender market place. @@MangaGamified

Since blender 4.0, the armature layer function has been removed and replaced by the Bone Collections function.
I get that error when using older AutoRigPro versions with blender 4.0 or higher.
The latest AutoRigPro also supports Blender 4, so please download that version.

Quick Rig also has a manual setup, so if it does not work correctly with your 3D model, try entering the bone names manually!
If you have difficulty reading the official Quick Rig documentation, you may want to ask the Auto-Rig Pro developer for assistance.

Thanks! Note that if your model is not made by VRoid, you'll need to set the bone names yourself.
Also, if you can't solve the problem, please ask the developer of AutoRig-Pro.
