As for Saints Row I heard it's great except for the newest iteration which bankrupted the developer lmao, and is indeed shit as well. For the Watch Dogs series I would say their okay, but yeah it's mainly focused on hacking so it's not a good comparison but the first and second game was good, the third one, WD Legion is pretty bad. I like how people defending GTA 5 for no reason. GTA 5 had bigger budgets and it sold better than sleeping dogs because of its previous entries, popularity and of course it's a bigger game. And sleeping dogs came out like a year before GTA 5 and because it didn't reach the amount of sells SquareEnix expected so they literally ditched the game and never made a sequel. Pretty sure if they make another game it's gonna be a big one but they won't. Story wise Sleeping dogs is better well that's just my opinions.

The beauty of the SD isn't the graphics really, tbh. the advanced fighting mechanics got me addicted to this game and also the story and the missions feels dope and rewarding unlike GTA V, played it for 10min. and got bored, eventually deleted it, like idk. hahaha, I think GTA V is made for open roam only for graphics simulating purposes lol.

Sleeping Dogs wins fighting, the fighting mechanics in GTA 5 is punch, dodge kick. You have places to do movements, ice chipper, garbage, shredder, car door, etc.
In sleeping dogs you can come out of the front glass if you hit a wall so fast, also ambulance can revive ppl sometimes, and if you stick a car between two walls the character will exit from the front class

I bought the definitive edition last week cos I already sold my PS3. There's something charming about the story that keeps me coming back to it, plus if you love Martial Arts this is the best free roaming game of Martial Arts. This and the Warriors game, timeless and gold.

Sleeping dogs has more content in a smaller map. Tbh I dont need a large map as long as I can roam around hours in a small map but still finds things to do.

I would love if the game developers create a sequel or another Asian undercover story like in Japan with a lot of underground hip hop songs. And I personally think the places feel more alive & interesting w/ games like Yakuza & Persona than GTA.
0:06 It is possible to get ejected from the front in sleeping dogs. All you have to do is drive super fast into a pole or some edge. It requires a lot of speed but it is possible. Also apart from like the game mechanic of car hijacking there is another animation which triggers when the car doors are blocked.
Sleeping Dogs is way better. Better story, better characters, better water graphics, way better wet effect on the roads and on the clothes. Better open world system and much more small feature. To play with Sleeping Dogs was such a fun and amazing experience. But when I played with GTA 5 I bored it less than 2 hours.

"What? I'm not doing anything" "I call the police! I really do" , you hear the police coming to shoot at you because you did what? No problem , that's what you are waiting for anyway , you drill the girl with loads of bullets and you calmly observe her painted face since she was running at 0.000001 mph , so you just start making some havoc , maybe with the rocket launcher you easily buy cheap at the market (XD) , then you reach the sewer and you wait for the bot cops running towards you straight and comitting suicide under your fire without any possible logic and tactics (but considering it is set in the USA , I may say this latter aspect is quite near to the real) , then , when you are tired to see those 5 stars on the screen , you just finish to slay the last wave and you run in the sewer , stars are set to 0 , repeat. But yeah Sleeping Dogs is indeed an amazing game and it's hard to disagree, but what I do disagree on is your take on GTA V, I would say GTA V is great too. They're both good in their own rights. As for Saints Row I heard it's great except for the newest iteration which bankrupted the developer lmao, and is indeed shit as well. For the Watch Dogs series I would say their okay, but yeah it's mainly focused on hacking so it's not a good comparison but the first and second game was good, the third one, WD Legion is pretty bad. As for Driver I don't know much about it so I can't say anything.

That happens in GTA 5 , in Sleeping Dogs ambulance come but not sure they revive. Sleeping Dogs is until now the best game of its kind. And the map is not small , simply alleys are not complex (they represent the true hong kong structure) but practically the map of the city is big and extends vertically too. Sleeping Dogs has the right quantity , GTA is full of useless stuff. Precisely GTA is poop , Yakuza has nothing to deal with that apart from some stereotyped "culture" , Watch Dogs has nothing to deal with Sleeping Dogs , the storyline is very different and Watch dogs is about hacking , way more futuristic and the series was developed AFTER Sleeping Dogs , so Sleeping Dogs can't be related to Watch Dogs whatsoever. GTA 5 had bigger budgets and it sold better than sleeping dogs because of its previous entries, popularity and of course it's a bigger game.
And sleeping dogs came out like a year before GTA 5 and because it didn't reach the amount of sells SquareEnix expected so they literally ditched the game and never made a sequel.
Pretty sure if they make another game it's gonna be a big one but they won't.

This game ruled! I loved how it seemed to draw inspiration from all the Rockstar games, not just GTA - the fighting reminded me of The Warriors, the environmental combat was like Manhunt 2, etc.

Sleeping Dogs wins fighting, the fighting mechanics in GTA 5 is punch, dodge kick. You have places to do movements, ice chipper, garbage, shredder, car door, etc.

In sleeping dogs you can come out of the front glass if you hit a wall so fast, also ambulance can revive ppl sometimes, and if you stick a car between two walls the character will exit from the front class
Sleeping dogs better for its age, size, combat, story. GTA 5 is also good but no that great

@@santsandoval7 I just finished it last night. It was my 3rd time, first was on PS3 when it was released, 2nd time was after 3 years of not playing it. I bought the definitive edition last week cos I already sold my PS3. There's something charming about the story that keeps me coming back to it, plus if you love Martial Arts this is the best free roaming game of Martial Arts. This and the Warriors game, timeless and gold.
I just want to remind that Sleeping dogs is older than gta 5.
Its simply a game that has more feautures, thats all.

sleeping dogs can beat gta if they made a comeback next year with a bigger map and great graphics
the way how doing side activities will really give you some temporary buffs in game is so great. Having some massage, doing some training on training dummies, and even eating that yummy pork bun.

i think sleeping dogs is very better then gta 5
Sleeping Dogs what i love: Combat, gunplay, parkour, car gameplay
GTA 5 what i love: Physics, sandbox mechanics, vehicles variet, weapons variet
Sleeping dogs has more content in a smaller map.
Tbh I dont need a large map as long as I can roam around hours in a small map but still finds things to do.
Both Games are fucking good I like both.

I would love if the game developers create a sequel or another Asian undercover story like in Japan with a lot of underground hip hop songs. And I personally think the places feel more alive & interesting w/ games like Yakuza & Persona than GTA.

0:06 It is possible to get ejected from the front in sleeping dogs. All you have to do is drive super fast into a pole or some edge. It requires a lot of speed but it is possible. Also apart from like the game mechanic of car hijacking there is another animation which triggers when the car doors are blocked.
Sleeping Dogs is way better. Better story, better characters, better water graphics, way better wet effect on the roads and on the clothes. Better open world system and much more small feature. To play with Sleeping Dogs was such a fun and amazing experience. But when I played with GTA 5 I bored it less than 2 hours.
