I remember the last time I was on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, it was also my first double header on this railroad with K-28’s 473 and 476, the year was 2022 and not only that, I also came across this railroad employee who works on the railroad and I learned about him that he actually likes the K-28 class locomotives better than the K-36 and K-37 class.
The locations are fantastic, the view is breathtaking, and the aerial footage is truly remarkable.

was there a reason for the double heading or do they do that alot?>
It depends on the number of cars they are pulling. In this case the railroad needed to add an extra engine due to the number of cars.
