im a proud Ilonggo by blood, Negrense by heart.i was born by Ilonggo parents and raised in Negros Occidental but not Bacolod.i was there during aliwan 2011 with friends from iloilo and shouted my lungs out cheering for tribu pan-ay.it truely was an exceptional performance.something any ilonggo can be proud of.

what makes Pan-ay and Pantat won is actually ung tatak Ilonggo choreography na ipinasa from generation to generation...well, some innovations were done to improve the whole storyline of every performance...of course all of these came from Ilonggo prides Romel Flogen of Pan-ay and Ramil Huyatid of Pantat...Ramil is the choreographer of last year's Aliwan champion Tribu Paghidaet...Romel choreographed to groups last year in Aliwan, Tribu Kasag (2nd runner-up) and Paraw Regatta's 2010 winning team.

no one can ever beat Dinagyang when it comes to festivities like this, Atitihan is just a collection of lousy street dancing held along the streets of kalibo, sinulog settles only for mediocrity, but when it comes to contest like this, judge by: choreography, thundering drumbeats, jaw dropping props and acrobats, originality, presentation and technicality, dinagyang has it. ILONGGO have it!. proud to be ilonggo! grabe guid kanami.

last october just right after masskara festival was over and some videos were posted here n youtube there were comments from ilonggo people saying bad things about masskara.it just breaks my heart to see these things.ill say this once and for all.masskara and dinagyang are two different festivals.dinagyang is more on the religious side in honor of sr sto nino.masskara is more on merry making.
@pyjamas28 wala pa kasulod ang pan ay sa grandstand ga hinugyaw na mga tawo.. after sila nga ng perform 1st time ko nakita mga judges ng tukap.. 1 and only lang nga gin tukapan nila ang pan ay..pyjamas28 permi ko ni diri ginabantayan kada aliwan..kag taas noo gid ko pagkatapos perform sang dinagyang. bal an ko nga tapos na ang contest hehe sure win!!

Paraw team was 3rd runnerup..giving iloilo 3 slots on the result...one thing pa pala...that's true ung sinabi nung isang nagcomment..Ilonggos dance to enjoy, to give happiness..that's how we love dancing and all forms of art...ganyan ka bagsik ang Ilonggos. Romel and Ramil are performers and choreographers outside the country before they became choreographers of these groups...next year, we must expect more from all talented ilonggos in any field of art...if you love it, you wl surely b noticed.

Nag-uumpisa pa lang cla start or recruit for the next yr's Dinagyang. Yung mga nanalo this yr baka nakagraduate na. Halos lahat ng malalaking festival nag-guest na Dinagyang eh. From Luzon including Cebu's Sinulog (Bola-bola early 90's)
