There is a group of artists making experimental music for solo electric guitar, I call it a "separate micro-genre" to which rock, jazz, metal musicians have contributed.... from Fred Frith, Sonny Sharrock and Neil Young to Pat Metheny and Justin Broadrick. Romitelli's composition can be seen as a reference to this rich and ambitious oeuvre, in which the guitar is more than an instrument and a "source of sound" - is in a sense a compact "experimental studio."
Great interpretation of the work, awesome job! May I ask where the score is from? There are some inscriptions that are whited out in the score published by Ricordi that are not in your video.
thanks sophie...I have the score published by Ricordi but I used for the video a pdf downloaded from the web. I don't know why there are more inscription in this version
