ive used before in big plants . The concept is good . The reality is it created to much suction in some areas resulting in porosity . Ya never knew when you were goin to get porosity . We got rid of all of em . Created to much rework !
It is a shame nobody replies. I weld in a 6m container, within a bigger workshop. In summer I have two doors I can open, but in winter it is a problem at -20°C. I have extended the extraction hose slightly and placed the extractor outside. The question now is if the extractor motor will handle the cold?

Does it filter the air and exhaust out "clean air". It doesn't seem to mention what happens to the exhaust air.

It's the same as a tweco smoke collector, it has an internal cartridge filter, no need to exhaust outside.
