This song is off the debut, which Messiah didn't sing on. He's also pretty obviously trying to sing like Johan, not Messiah. I think Messiah would probably be hurt and jealous, if anything.
@@eugenestrauss8522yeah I know the history of candlemass and maybe because it’s a cover that he’s trying to sound more like the source material but in general I think he sounds more like messiah through his musical career. I can’t see messiah being upset at amazing vocals like this even despite the context. I still think he sounds more like messiah in this also, the higher pitched vocals Jonah had a very deep tone to his in my opinion

Gotta love a loyal, note to note cover of epic originals. But the wah dude kinda overdid it a bit and made suck a simple, charismatic solo sound silly. Bummer :(

Ever looked up the meaning of a cover?
A cover doesn't mean to mold it into your style, as it's usually a tribute played by different musicians and sung by a singer which naturally has a somewhat different voice. Covers can be made in a different style, but it's not a prerequisite for a cover, and some song are already great enough to be not molded into a different style and adhere to the style of the original.
